On the topic of games that probably aren't gonna cost $80 on release, LakeFeperd showed this on his upcoming F-Zero Spiritual Successor, XF Extreme Formula. Apparently there will be combat-focused segments on the story mode like this below.Not sure what to think of this. On one hand the combat looks solid and the stage design looks cool, but on the other hand, the only other game I've seen do something like this was Crash Bandicoot Tag Team Racing, and I know a lot of people said that was one of the less-awesome Crash Bandicoot titles. Then again I hadn't played that one myself and I heard most of that game's criticisms came from parts like the Racer fusing mechanic being seriously unbalanced and N Gin being too game-breakingly overpowered, and so far XF Extreme Formula isn't showing anything like that. Just hope that LakeFeperd knows what he's doing.

While some of these newer upcoming games shown on Nintendo Direct do look cool, I really am not a fan of how they said they are upping the price tag from 60 to 80. Probably not going to get them on release. I hope they eventually lower the price if they end up not selling well as a result.
