Debian “wheezy” Release Information

Debian 7.11 wasreleasedJune 4th, 2016.Debian 7.0 was initially released on May 4th, 2013.The release included many majorchanges, described inourpress release andtheRelease Notes.

Debian 7 has been superseded byDebian 8 (jessie).

Wheezy also had benefited from Long Term Support (LTS) untilthe end of May 2018. The LTS was limited to i386, amd64, armel and armhf.For more information, please refer to theLTS section of the Debian Wiki.

Contrary to our wishes, there may be some problems that exist in therelease, even though it is declaredstable. We've madea list of the major known problems, and you can alwaysreport other issues to us.
