Hand luggage liquids

Only certain liquids can be carried in hand luggage and must be separately screened. This applies to all liquid products, including gels, sprays, pastes, lotions, foams, creams, jams, processed cheeses, liquid/solid mixtures, and other items of similar characteristics that are liquid at room temperature.

Duty-Free Shop purchased liquids

Following European Union regulations, as of January 31, 2014, EU airports will allow liquids purchased from duty-free shops at any airport or aircraft and packed in sealed security bags available at sales points to pass security. The proof of purchase (usually a receipt) must be visible in the bag and bear the mark of airport or airline in which the product was purchased.

The security bag must only be opened once the passenger reaches their final destination, except when opened for protective inspection by official airport personnel. Once examined, the product must be packed in a new security bag before you continue your journey. All other liquids must be placed in checked baggage.

Fast track

Avoid queuing or rushing with our passenger priority service, which allows you to move faster through security checkpoints. You can purchase this service when booking your flight.

Please note: Fast Track reduces queueing times, but it does not speed up mandatory check-in, security screening or boarding procedures. Please reserve time for these procedures.

Traveling with children

If you are traveling with small children and need to borrow or take a pram or a pushchair, you must present it at the check-in desk. Your airline will decide whether you have to check in your pram or pushchair or whether you can take it with you to the gate. As a general rule, two-piece prams must be checked in, but one-piece prams and pushchairs can be taken to the gate.

Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM)

If you are or travelling with a person who requires assistance, please inform your travel agent or the airline at least 48 hours before departure. Let them know whether you need to travel with a battery-powered wheelchair, respirator, or guide dog. If you wish to travel with your wheelchair Each airline has different regulations regarding the carriage of electric wheelchairs. Please enquire with your airline before your journey.

Ruđer Bošković airport offers special parking facilities for people with reduced mobility.

Airlines must be notified if you are bringing a guide dog. Ask your destination country's travel agent or the embassy about dog entry regulations.
