The biggest compliment you can pay Steve Clarke's side is they make it look so easy - and they are sparking Scotland dreams of German glory.

Goals from Scott McTominay, Ryan Porteous andJohn McGinnin the first half against Cyprus sealed an emphatic 3-0 in Larnaca. The latestEuro 2024 Group A qualifier was done and dusted in the opening 45 minutes in the blistering heat but a cool and collected second half saw Clarke's men turn the big team style on and see this out without any fuss or hassle.

It's very un-Scottish for such banana skins to be banished without a trace but that's what Clarke's gallous heroes are making possible following five wins from five qualification matches. Now the party to end all parties could ensue at Hampden on Tuesday night, as a Norwegian draw with Georgia could see a spot at next year's tournament in Germany rubber-stamped, even if the world already have a ticket waiting.

That roar of joy in Mount Florida is almost too tantalising to think about but it's now a mouth-watering possibility. Victory in Cyprus has got the world talking andRecord Sport looks at the best reaction toScotland'slatest success.

Baseljetzt (Switzerland)

"Scotland remains without a loss in the European Football Championship qualifier. The Scots beat bottom Cyprus 3-0 and are enthroned at the top of Group A after five games. After half an hour, Steve Clarke's men had beaten Joël Mall three times in the Cypriot goal. After that, Servette's goalie no longer had to be defeated, but the southern Europeans were never in the situation of turning the game in Larnaca around.

"This puts Scotland well on the way to taking part in a European Championship for the second time in a row and for the fourth time overall. The Scots' first pursuers are the Spaniards, who celebrated an impressive 7-1 win against Georgia. Alvaro Morata scored three times for the Iberians.

N-TV (Germany)

"The benchmark in Spain's group remains Scotland: The 3-0 (3-0) win in Cyprus was the fifth win in the fifth qualifying game - with a goal difference of 12:1, Scotland is clearly on course for the Euros. And: Steve Clarke's flawless team also beat Spain (2-0) in March."

Sud Quotidien (Senegal)

"Scotland welcomed, for its part,Cyprus. Authors of a faultless record since the start of this campaign, Steve Clarke's men hoped to consolidate their first place against the Cypriots, defeated in their first three matches.

"In control throughout the meeting, Che Adams' teammates provided the essentials by winning (3-0) thanks to the achievements of McTominay (6th), Porteous (16th) and McGinn (30th). A victory allowing Scotland to remain leader with 9 nine lengths ahead of La Roja (and two more matches). "

De Telegraaf (Netherlands)

"Scotland is close to taking part in next year's European Football Championship in Germany. National coach Steve Clarke's team won the away match against Cyprus by a large margin: 0-3. Scotland led by three goals at halftime. The goals were scored by Scott McTominay, Ryan Porteous and John McGinn.

"The Scots previously surprised Spain in the qualification (2-0) and also won against Norway (1-2). With 15 points from five matches, Scotland is comfortably in the lead in group A. Spain follows with 6 points from three matches. Norway and Georgia both have 4 points after four matches. The first two countries secure a ticket for the European Championship."

Vermouth Deportivo (Argentina)

"The Tartan Army practically secured its ticket to the next edition of the continental competition at the club level of the old continent. With a comfortable 3-0 victory over Cyprus on the night in Larnaca, those led by Steve Clarke reached 15 points in 5 games within their group.

"Cyprus could not do anything at home and lost against the rival that leads a group where Spain also lives. The 3-0 victory corresponded to this Scotland that won the five that it played in qualifying for the Eurocup and, if there are no imponderables, it will be in Germany 2024."

Relevo (Spain)

"Five victories in five games is Scotland's baggage in the qualifying phase, strengthened every day, without failure; and that did not give in to the fragile Cyprus to extend its full and dominance in Group A of the qualifying phase for the Euro 2024 football championship, ahead of Spain, Norway and Georgia.

"It was the response of Steve Clarke's team to the overwhelming victory of the Spanish team in Georgia in the previous duel of the day. The Scottish victory in Larnaca was not so overwhelming. But it is convincing in the line that Clarke's team has shown since the start of the tournament.

"The superiority, especially in the aerial game, was evident. Scotland found a vein in a specialty that they dominate and that is part of their style of play."

A Bola (Portugal)

"Scotland beat Cyprus 3-0 this Friday, in a game counting for group A of the Euro 2024 qualifying phase. In another inspired night by Scott McTominay, Steve Clarke's team ended up reaching the goal in the 6th minute, scored by McTominay, with a header. The second goal came ten minutes later, by Ryan Porteous. Still in the first half, midfielder John McGinn closed the scoreboard in the 30th minute.

"With this result, Scotland remains unbeaten in Group A, with 5 wins in 5 matches. The Scots return to the field on the 12th, in a friendly against England."

Sportal (Greece)

"Scotland comfortably beat Cyprus 3-0 and are a breath away from qualifying for the finals of Euro 2024. Scotland strolled to Larnaca, beating Cyprus 3-0 in matchday five of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. Steve Clarke 's side now need a Norway draw with Georgia on Tuesday (12/9) to seal their ticket to Germany."
