Police have issued fines and enforcement notices after a number of untaxed and uninsured vehicles were discovered in a New Forest neighbourhood.
Officers from the Fordingbridge neighbourhood policing team joined forces with New Forest District Council’s enforcement officers on Thursday following reports of several problem vehicles in the Hurst Road area of Ringwood.
During the operation, six vehicles were found without valid road tax and were issued official notices.

Two more were discovered to have no MOT, resulting in £100 fines for their owners.
Officers say some of the vehicles were also believed to be uninsured, prompting further checks.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said the joint operation formed part of ongoing efforts to crack down on illegal vehicle use locally.
They urged residents to report concerns, adding: "If you know someone using vehicles illegally, let us know in confidence on 101 so we can continue to proactively deal with offences."
