
Data has releveled the roads in Chandler's Ford that have the most speeding drivers with more than 50 drivers caught speeding on one road in a single day.
Volunteers recorded hundreds of speeding drivers between January and October 2025, with Hocombe Road, Hursley Road andWinchester Road emerging as the worst hotspots.
Hocombe Road produced the most alarming results, repeatedly topping 40 offenders an hour, including 51 speeding drivers on May 28, 47 on August 11 and 49 on September 11.

Winchester Road also saw worrying levels, with 40 drivers caught on July 4 and 39 on August 5.
The speed watch group is made up of 11 local residents in Chandler's Ford and the group use police approved Speedguns.
A group spokesperson said abuse towards volunteers has increased, adding: "Hocombe Road is incredibly high with speeders. It regularly sees 30–40 an hour in a 30mph zone."
