The Study Abroad Office provides opportunities for all California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) students to study or intern in other countries or virtually. Studying abroad is one of the most academically rewarding experiences a student can have. Become immersed in the culture, history, and academic life of a brand-new country while making progress toward your degree.
Experience studying in a foreign country. Enjoy learning from different perspectives through our Study Abroad program. You can earn academic units and more. There are no restrictions.
There are many benefits and different reasons for this, many students like you choose to study outside their home country:
• You can graduate faster. Data shows 95% of those students who studied abroad are likely to graduate in six years, against 63% of those who did not study abroad.
• You can find employment within the first 12 months after your graduation.
• Gain real-life and exciting experiences living in a foreign country as a local, not a tourist, while immersing yourself in a culture other than yours.
• You can boost your resume by acquiring new skills, gaining self-confidence and establishing a network of life-long friends from different parts of the world and cultures.
You can enroll in different study abroad programs for a semester, an entire year, during summer or special sessions. You can find a class or ask for an internship. Check here or take a QR picture for all offerings. But, no matter what, you will have a transformative learning experience living and studying in a country of your own choice.

This program is run like a class: it is most likely that you hear about this program from your professor, or you ask us. It is too simple to enroll. Register for the class the way you would normally do for a class on campus. The only addition, you may need the lead professor’s approval, and will have to fill out the travel forms and attend the pre-departure training to prepare your for your trip.
The Faculty Led Programs are likely to run as a hybrid model: depending on your professor’s syllabus, you may spend some time taking lectures before traveling abroad.
For this year’s programs, CSUDH faculty will be traveling to these countries.
