A one-stop-shop is now open in Llanidloes allowing people to borrow items that they need but don’t own or want to buy.

Llani Library of Things has been set up by Zero Carbon Llanidloes and encourages residents to participate in a sharing economy by offering a diverse range of items available for borrowing.

Osian Gwent, project officer, said: “Joining is simple, borrowing is affordable, and the impact is significant.

OTHER NEWS:

“We’re looking forward to getting the people of Llanidloes borrowing instead of buying and reducing our impact on the planet, while helping us keep a little more money in our pocket too.”

Llani Library Of Things is open four days a week from Tuesday to Friday between 2pm to 6pm at the back of the Old Post Office opposite the Spar store.

Osian added: “We are looking for all kinds of quality donations from individuals and businesses in Llanidloes.

“Please search your garages, sheds, attics and spare rooms for anything that fits the bill, or anything else you think your neighbours will find useful.”
