One of the boys is to receive12 strokes, another 6 and the other[sic]4. The casewas heard in camera. The Magistrate recommended that the boys be sent out of townto a village to escape the atmosphere of the city. In connectionwith this case a carpenter, Silberberg was charged with havingsent one of the boys to commit a theft. One of the accusedtestified that Silberman[sic]had told him to steal agramophone but he had stolen a typewriter instead. Silberberg wasdischarged for lack of evidence. | | |
