Graham wins £142m Edinburgh garrison revamp

Aaron Morby3 days ago

Graham has landed a £142m deal to overhaul three key Army sites across Edinburgh as the Defence Infrastructure Organisation steps up its modernisation drive.

The contract will deliver new buildings and major refurbishments at Dreghorn Barracks, Glencorse Barracks and the Colinton Road Reserve Centre.

Graham will roll out new single living accommodation blocks, upgraded training spaces and fresh operational facilities in a package designed to boost capability and improve day-to-day life for troops based in the capital.

At Dreghorn, the programme includes new SLA, training hubs, armoury, garages and a dedicated band facility. Glencorse will get new SLA, offices, stores and an armoury, plus a pony stable and paddock. Colinton Road Reserve Centre will see a new guard house alongside upgraded catering, garaging, stores and offices.

Construction is expected to get underway in early 2027 once design work is completed.
