    In 1997, part of the shooting for the James Bond filmTomorrow Never Dies, starring Pierce Brosnan, took place at the Hotel Atlantic Kempinski. A stunt scene showed Pierce Brosnan climbing to the globe on the hotel roof from the Atlantic Suite.
