He was born and raised in St Louis, Missouri, and attended New York University, graduating with degrees in Journalism and dramatic literature. He started his career atVogue, and has since contributed toVanity Fair, Architectural Digest, Harper's Bazaar, The New York Times and theWSJ Magazine. He is the author ofClassy: Exceptional Advice for the Extremely Modern Lady, a New York Times best-selling collection of humorous essays about etiquette, which was translated into several languages and published in countries in Asia, South America, and Europe. A sequel,Very Classy: Even More Advice for the Extremely Modern Lady, soon followed. He was the author ofBazaar: Models, a survey of the most influential faces in fashion history and the editor ofInfluence by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Blasberg lives on New York’s Upper East Side with a dachshund called Monster.
