Nintendo Switch 2

Plufl

Billed as the human dog bed, the Plufl has been getting a lot of play on TikTok and other social media channels, so we decided to try one. The "bed" actually comes in four pieces: the cover, two fairly long tube-like pillows and a slim, oval "mattress" made out of memory foam. You stuff everything inside the cover -- assembly takes about 15 minutes -- and lo and behold, you're looking at a giant dog bed (or a plush life raft that doesn't float) big enough for a human. Not only is it quite comfortable for homo sapiens, but canine enjoy it too. While the Plufl is slightly more suitable for small or average-size humans, as long as you aren't really tall, it should accommodate you. It comes in a few colors, and the cover is removable and washable.

The Hatch Restore 3 is not only an alarm clock; it can also help your insomniac friends. The clock is shaped like a sunrise and helps someone wake up by gradually emitting a calming sunrise-type light, as well as a sound of their choosing, like crashing waves. It's also useful for bedtime routines -- the clock can take on a darker, relaxing tone with its sunset light. Then, your giftee can choose a soothing time-to-fall-asleep ambient sound, music, guided meditation or Sleep Story from Hatch. It's alsoCNET's pick for best sunrise alarm clock.

BioLite Alpenglow 500

BioLite has several portable lighting options, and the Alpenglow 500 is one of its more recent additions. It's a portable lantern that has multiple modes and color options. As its name implies, it delivers 500 lumens, and asCNET's David Carnoy notes, it is indeed pretty bright. The step-down Alpenglow 250 offers 250 lumens for $15 less. Both are rated for 5 hours of battery life on the high setting and up to 200 hours on the low setting.

M4 Macbook Air (15-Inch)

Apple's latest MacBook Air is one of thebest laptops you can buy, and it's a great choice for someone who wants a machine that's thin and light but doesn't compromise on speed. The smaller, 13-inch model is perfect for students. But if you're using it for work or just want a bigger display, the 15-inch version is definitely worth it.

Baseus 5K Picogo Power Bank with Kickstand

Baseus' 5K Picogo Power Bank with Kickstand costs about twice as much as its standard 5K Picogo Power Bank, but you get the faster 15W charging speeds that Qi2 offers (compared to 7.5W), and its 5,000-mAH battery delivers close to one full charge to most iPhones. Even with the built-in kickstand, it's a very compact magnetic power bank, according to CNET's David Carnoy. It weighs only 4.8 ounces with dimensions that aren't much bigger than a credit card (except for thickness). In testing, he found that it doesn't get too warm while charging, and the USB-C port allows you to charge out at 20W with a cable. With the kickstand, you can prop your phone up vertically (portrait mode) or horizontally (landscape mode).

Ninja Blast

There are more-affordable portable blenders, like the Blendjet 2 and the Hamilton Beach Single-Serve, but the Ninja Blast, which lists for $70, is a step up from those models. It looks and feels more premium, and though it isn't superpowerful, it's a good option for making smoothies and protein shakes on the go or at home when you don't want to deal with a full-size blender. Additionally, you can drink right from the blender, as it has a leak-proof sip lid. Available in multiple color options and easy to operate, it has an 18 ounce-capacity and recharges via USB-C.
