William Daley, wife sell condo

Former U.S. Commerce Secretary and White House Chief of Staff William Daley and his wife on Friday sold their two-bedroom condominium unit in the Park Tower on North Michigan Avenue for $1.4 million.
Daley’s wife, Bernadette Keller, bought the 2,052-square-foot unit in 2006 for $1.8 million. Shortly after the couple married about five years ago, they paid $2.6 million for the four-bedroom condo on North Lake Shore Drive on the Gold Coast where they now live.
Daley and Keller first listed the 41st-floor, corner unit in October, and recently had been asking $1.46 million for it. They had been renting the unit for $6,000 a month.
Features include 2-1/2 baths, large walk-in closets, hardwood floors, a fireplace, high ceilings and an eat-in kitchen.
Janet Owen of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group had the listing.
