My take on the Model

tldr: C1-C4 represent the stages of psychological and nervous system development of human bio-computers. C5-C8 represent the range of experiences possible through altered states of consciousness. The upper circuits deliver shocks and bring in disorder, the lower circuits can absorb and integrate them for expansion and change or fail to do so and cause dis-regulation and disbalance.

Circuit 1-4 can be seen as the parts of the nervous system occupied with figuring out how to survive as a humanoid embodied emotional animal with conceptual intelligence and a social personality. This circuits represent the stages of development of the human nervous system and individual psychological imprints it takes from the environment while growing up. Most of that what we usually call the body-mind-system or ego-structure is represented in this circuits. I call this the inner order.

Circuits 5-8 can bee seen as the realms of transpersonal experiencing available to our nervous system by accessing altered states of consciousness by either practicing of techniques available through different initiatory paths for so called enlightenment or the use of psychedelic substances and plant medicines. Sometimes also life will gift us this experiences through random shocks of ecstasy, uncertainty, indivisibility or impermanence.

Either way, experiences of this kind can shock the ego-structures of C1-C4 bringing in disorder. Disorder of the creative type that can be absorbed and integrated by the ego-structures and lead to more flexibility and expansion as our neuronal networks rearrange (Neuroplasticity). Disorder of the destructive type happens, when we can’t integrate the experiences and dis-regulation occurs. We might be declared insane, disordered or dysfunctional by the standards of western civilization.

This map can help understand how to maintain balance by integrating shocks so we can fly high with your feet firmly on the ground. It also helps to understand how we can intentionally create change in our neuronal networks through inquiry, experiments and ritual practices.

Fold-ins are done by folding two pages of text with the same line-spacing in half vertically, and combining them together to read across from one page to the next (Like inThe Third Mind). It creates a new text with a new meaning from existing texts.

It was developed together by William S. Burroughs and Brion Gysin, and is closely related to thecut-up technique.

The Green Mushroom Project: Resist!

The Green Mushroom Project is a large-scale, collaborative group magical working which began in October of 2020 and continues to grow.

The Mushroom sigil is a “hyphosigil”, a reference to fungal mycelia, networks that exist below the surface, often interacting with other life forms, such as plants, in a mutually beneficial way. 

If the participants of the The Green Mushroom Project are like trees, than the hyphosigil project is like the mycelial network of fungi that connects and helps nourish us while allowing for the exchange of information and occult resources and technologies.

Austin Osman Spare was a British occultist and artist who developed a method of sigil creation that is known as the "Sigilization Method". This method involves taking a desire or intention and transforming it into a visual symbol or sigil, which is then charged with energy and released into the universe to manifest the desired outcome.

The process of creating a sigil involves several steps. The first step is to write out the desire or intention in a clear and concise sentence. The second step is to remove all vowels and repeating letters from the sentence, leaving only the consonants. The third step is to rearrange the remaining letters into a unique symbol or sigil that represents the original sentence. The fourth step is to meditate on the sigil, visualizing it as a powerful and transformative symbol that represents the desired outcome.

The final step is to charge the sigil with energy, which can be done in a variety of ways. One common method is to focus on the sigil while engaging in an intense physical activity, such as running or dancing, in order to generate a high level of energy. Rose Cross Sigil Generator

Rose Cross Sigil Generator uses an old method that used to be done on paper. The use of Hebrew letters arranged in a circle around the Rose Cross to create sigils is a specific practice within the broader tradition of sigil magic. The origins of this practice are not entirely clear, but it is believed to have emerged in the late 19th and early 20th centuries with the development of Hermetic Qabalah and the teachings of occultist groups such as theHermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.

The use of the Rose Cross in combination with the Hebrew letters arranged in a circle is thought to be a way of harnessing these energies and principles for specific purposes. The letters are arranged in a circle around the Rose Cross to create a visual representation of the energy flow or spiritual forces being invoked.

This practice has since been adopted by various practitioners of sigil magic, particularly those influenced by Hermetic Qabalah and other esoteric traditions. The use of the Rose Cross with Hebrew letters arranged in a circle to create sigils is therefore a relatively modern practice that has evolved from older mystical and esoteric traditions.

narZart Sigil Generator

The narZart Sigils Generator is based on a populartutorial image that iswidely shared across the internet as an excellent explainer for how to perform sigil magick. I have searched for the original author with very little success. The trail usually runs cold at some long dead tumblr links but it seems that narZart was an artist and occultist who shared work online in the past. If you can put me in contact with the original artist please do, I love to give credit.

The narZart Sigils Generator works exactly as described in the original tutorial image. To start, you must first create a viable statement of intent to represent what you want to manifest with the sigil.

Then you need to remove all the vowels and the repeated letters

Next you will convert the statement of intent into numbers ranging from one to nine using English Gematria (numerology) or the included simplified version of it.

Finally you use the guide provided where the numbers one through nine are arranged in a circle at random. You will be tracing the numbers that represent your statement of intent over the guide below to arrive at a shape that you will use as a sigil.

Witch's Sigil Wheel Generator

The Witch's Sigil Wheel Generator uses a custom circular layout of the English alphabet in three concentric rings which are subdivided into 26 segments containing each of the letters in the English alphabet. The letters are arranged in a spiral beginning at the top outer circle and proceeding clockwise towards the center of the pattern.

To create a sigil with the Witch's Sigil Wheel Generator a line is traced over the sigil wheel which passes through each of the letters in your statement of intent. The pattern this makes will act as the sigil for the intent you have chosen.

Since first programming the Witch's Sigil Wheel Generator I have searched for the origin of this sigil creation method for a while now (it's shared ALL over the internet). The earliest reference that I was able to find to the Witch's Sigil Wheel is it's appearance inThe Wheel of the Year, a book on witchcraft that was published in 2014 and which was written by Maureen Murrish. I am still not able to ascertain if that was the first appearance of the Witch's Sigil Wheel but I have reached out to her and I'm awaiting a reply.

Dice

Dice have been used since before recorded history, and it is uncertain where they originated.

It is theorized that dice developed from the practice of fortune-telling with the talus of hoofed animals, colloquially known as knucklebones.

There are countless ways to use them in all types of workings that require an element of randomness.

Magic 8-Ball

Available since 1950, the magic 8-ball is used by asking it a question and then reading the message revealed in the small window to get your answer.

The functional component of the Magic 8-Ball was invented by Albert C. Carter, who was inspired by a spirit writing device used by his mother Mary, a Cincinnati clairvoyant.

Like the Ouija Board, the Magic 8ball gained mainstream popularity as a toy and is widely available despite being a divination tool.

Coin Flip

Flipping a coin has been used throughout the years to determine between 2 choices by assigning the choices to either "heads" or "tails".

There are countless ways to use them in all types of workings that require an element of randomness.

Cut-up Technique

The cut-up technique is an aleatory literary technique in which a written text is cut up and rearranged to create a new text.

The concept can be traced to at least the Dadaists of the 1920s, but was popularized in the late 1950s and early 1960s by magician William S. Burroughs after Brion Gysin introduced him to the concept at the Beat Hotel. (link).

It's closely related to thefold-in technique.

Iching

An ancient (1000-750 BC) Chinese cleromancy divination method where you choose passages from the I Ching (Book of Changes) using yarrow stalks or (more recently) coins.

The Coin Method

The most common method today involves flipping 3 coins and adding up their totals. This is repeated 6 times to generate the 6 lines of your hexagram.

Flip 3 coins Depending on their total you either get a solid line or a broken line. Consult the table below. Heads are worth 3, tails are worth 2. Do this 6 times to build your hexagram from the bottom up (first coin toss is the bottom line). If you get any of the changing lines (see below) also consult the new hexagram formed by the lines changing. Your reading of the situation would then have 2 parts (x changing into y) Look up the meanings of the hexagrams you have generated (above table of trigrams links to all hexagram meanings).

The Yarrow Stalk Method

For each line of the hexagram:

1. Remove one yarrow stalk from the fifty stalks, and put it in front of you, in a direction parallel to your body. This is the observer stalk, you will not be using it again while casting the hexagram
2. Randomly divide the remaining 49 sticks into 2 piles. Put the 2 piles on both sides of you, pointing away from you, in a direction perpendicular to your body.
3. Pick up a yarrow stalk from the pile on the RIGHT, and put it between the little finger and the ring finger of the LEFT hand. This is the 2nd stalk.
4. Pick up the remaining yarrow stalks from the pile on the LEFT with your LEFT hand.
5. Remove 4 stalks at a time from the LEFT hand, and put them on the table, in individual piles of 4 stalks each. This process is stopped when there are 4 or less stalks left. Put these remaining stalks held on the LEFT hand between the ring finger and the middle finger of the LEFT hand.
6. Now, pick up the RIGHT hand heap, and sort it by fours in the same way, placing the remainder into the next gap between your fingers.
7. Count the stalks you are holding in your LEFT hand. This first total is either 5 or 9. (The various possibilities are 1+4+4, or 1+3+1, or 1+2+2, or 1+1+3.)
8. Set these counted stalks separately, and gather the uncounted stalks into a new pile. Repeat the steps above, to obtain a second total of 4 or 8. This time the possible combinations are 1+4+3, or 1+3+4, or 1+1+2, or 1+2+1. Likewise, these stalks are separated.
9. Repeat the procedure one last time, to get a third set of 4 or 8 stalks. You should now have three counted piles of 4/5 or 8/9.
10. The counted stalks are in groups of 4/5 or 8/9. For each group of 8 or 9, count 2. For each group of 4 or 5, count 3. This count should match the final number of removed piles of four, and determines the hexagram line. The result shown in the table below:

A commonly used system of categorization is that there are basically four models of magick; Spirit Model, Energy Model, Psychological Model, and Information Model.

• Spirit Model:
  Magic works via contact or intervention from some type of external spirits/entities.
• Energy Model:
  Magic works via the manipulation of (usually) unseen energies.
• Psychological Model:
  Magic works via manipulating reality's information, like hacking a computer.
• Information Model:
  Magic works via manipulating reality's information, like hacking a computer.

  Magic can work via any of these models, and I can access them all by paradigm shifting.

You can use this tool to pick a random model, either as inspiration for what to practice next, or as divination for which model you should use for a working (or which model is being used against you, in counter magic).

Random Belief

There's an excercise for practicing belief-as-a-tool (chaos magick concept) where you choose a random belief to believe each day or week or whatever.

With enough practice you will have the neuroplasticity to believe whatever you need to believe in order to complete a magical working.

Zener Cards

Zener cards are cards used to conduct experiments for extrasensory perception (ESP). For example you can practice trying to predict which card you will draw next, or you can look at a card your partner cannot see and try to communicate it telepathically to them.

Perceptual psychologist Karl Zener (1903–1964) designed the cards in the early 1930s for experiments conducted with his colleague, parapsychologist J. B. Rhine (1895–1980).

They are sometimes depicted in color, and sometimes only in black and white.

You can even subvert their originally intended use and do readings with them if you wanted. I like to use them for elemental readings:

Playing Cards

Modern playing cards and tarot cards both evolved from a common deck of playing cards that originated in the 14th century in Europe.

Some occultists perform divination (cartomancy) with a standard set of playing cards.

A deck typically has 4 suits that each that go from 1(ace) to 10, then Jack, Queen, King. Optionally there may be 2 Jokers.

Android Dreams Tarot

Android Dreams Tarot was created entirely by artificial intelligence, and released by chaostarot.com on 12/12/21.

This 78 card deck features the classic trumps and suits popularized by Rider-Waite-Smith, with wild art, white borders, and small clear titles.

In true technomancy fashion, the Android Dreams Tarot was crafted by computer learning which analyzed and compiled our online cultural archetype of each card into an uncanny full-color mashup of visions straight from our collective unconscious.

English Ordinal Numerology

Ordinal number values for the Latin alphabet.(A=1, B=2, C=3...) Useful for simple codes and boy scout puzzles.

ALW Numerology

"Discovered" by occultist James Lees, this system was created from Aleister Crowley's Book of the Law and assigns letter values by a graphic analysis of its manuscript. Incredibly useful for anything Thelema related.

EQ6

Latin alphabet values increase by 6 with each letter.(A=6, B=12, C=18...) Useful for getting rid of your 6's.

Agrippa English Qaballa

From Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy, this system creates 3 sets of 9 letters and assigns them 1-9, 10-90 and 100-900. Somewhat similar to both Hebrew Gematria and Greek Isopsephy.

Reduced English Qaballa

Latin alphabet values assigned 1-9 repeating till all letters are used. Based on the Pythagorian reduction of larger numbers into the base numbers.

Hebrew Gematria +finals

Traditional Hebrew letter values, including finals as their own letters. Gematria(Hebrew numerology) can be used to analyze any Hebrew words or formulas by their relationship to other words and their values, and traditionally was used for study of the Torah.

Hebrew Gematria

Traditional Hebrew letter values; does not calculate finals. Gematria(Hebrew numerology) can be used to analyze any Hebrew words or formulas by their relationship to other words and their values, and traditionally was used for study of the Torah.

Hebrew Ordinal Numerology

Ordinal number values for the Hebrew alphabet (א=1,ב=2, etc.). A very non-traditional Hebrew Gematria.

Reduced Hebrew Gematria

Hebrew alphabet values assigned 1-9 repeating till all letters are used. Based on the Pythagorean reduction of larger numbers into the base numbers.

Absolute Russian Gematria

I couldn't find a russian Gematria anywhere so I made it up myself!

The Russian Cyrillic alphabet follows Ioanian Greek numeral values like those in Isopsephy(Greek numerology), keeping with the Greek alphabet order for its values. Great for finding contemporary equivalents for Greek words or words that did not exist in the Greek language.

Ordinal Russian Gematria

Ordinal number values for the Russian Cyrillic alphabet (а=1, б=2, etc.) Great for KGB agents.

Reduced Russian Gematria

Russian Cyrillic alphabet values assigned 1-9 repeating till all letters are used. Based on the Pythagorean reduction of the larger absolute values into the base numbers.

Atom Bomb Tarot (Rider Waite Smith)

The Atom Bomb Tarot was created by the artist known asBluefluke, who is author of the popular free occult resourceThe Psychonaut Field Manual. You can get a copy of The Atom Bomb Tarothere.

Besides his own unique artwork, each card features various useful correspondences. He drew the cards in such a way that a deck can be customized to fit the pattern of a Rider-Waite-Smith deck or a Thoth deck to suit the preference of the owner.

Future chapters of the Psychonaut's Field Guide are expected to deliver further into the details of The Atom Bomb Tarot, and tarot itself, as a key to unlocking and understanding all magical practices.

Besides divination the cards can also be used as servitors (or something more if you wish), with the characters on each card having their own unique spheres of influence like a pantheon.

Rider Waite Smith Tarot

The is the most popular and widely used tarot deck in existence.

It was created by conceptualized by A.E. Waite and illustrated by Pamela Coleman Smith, both members of The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, and published by The Rider Company in 1909.

The symbolism on the cards was influenced by the work of Eliphas Levi, and the teachings of the Golden Dawn. Waite switched the order of Strength and Justice to fit the astrological correspondence taught in the Golden Dawn, as well as several other innovations.

One of the most noticable is the fully illustrated minor arcane, where many previous tarot decks only had pips on their minors.

There is a companion booklet author by Waite called The Key to the Tarot, and a layer revised version called The Pictorial Key to the Tarot.

This deck it's now in the public domain where copyright is concerned.

The Book of Thoth

The Thoth Tarot was conceptualized by Aleister Crowley and painted by Lady Frieda Harris between 1938 and 1943.

Crowley referred to the deck as The Book Of Thoth and in 1944 wrote a book of the same title about the deck.

Crowley incorporated symbolism from a variety of sources, named each card, adjusted their numerical, astrological, and Hebrew correspondences.

The court cards use the Golden Dawn's arrangement of Knight, Queen, Prince, Princess instead of the now common Kind, Queen, Knight, Page.

Lotería

A traditional Mexican game of chance similar to bingo but using cards and verses. It is sometimes referred to as "Mexican Bingo".

Lotería's origins date back to fifteenth century Italy and it was bright to Mexico in 1769. Don Clemente Jacques' iconic deck was published in 1887.

As with tarot before it, the cards from this popular mainstream game are now used for occult divination.

Elder Futhark

The oldest runic alphabet (not to be confused with the oldest alphabet period), used by the Germanic people in the first to eighth centuries.

Besides each rune having its own sounds, they also have associated meanings, which make them perfect for use in divination in which runes will typically be inscribed on small stones and drawn at random to have their meanings analyzed.

They can also be used in accordance with their meanings in a sigil or any number of other magical workings.

The alphabet of desire is a concept expressed in Peter J Carroll'sLiber Null.

It assigns symbols to the basic root emotions and pairs them with their opposite in a wheel formation.

The symbols can be combined and used in any type of working where the emotions they represent come into play.

The root emotions can also be arranged as a tree of life and used for pathworking.

You may use the symbols provided here or create your own unique alphabet of desire.

Dreamachine

The Dreamachine was developed by Brion Gysin (1916-1986) to enter a hypnagogic waking dream state. It uses flashes of light as visual stimulation between 8Hz and 13Hz to change your brainwaves.

The original Dreamachine was inspired by Gysin hallucinating to the sun flickering behind the trees as he traveled past. It was made up of a cylinder with slits that would rotate around a light bulb to create a flicker.

This is similar to the technique used by both Nostradamus and Jan Purkinje ( the father of contemporary neuroscience) to receive hallucinatory visions, by closing the eyes and moving their fingers before the eyelids to interrupt the light source and create a flicker.

The Trinary web-app can now output tone and color corresponding to letters, based on the works of musician and occultistPaul Foster Case (1884-1954).

Case blended together the existing divisions of Hebrew letters (mother/double/single), the colors (primary/secondary/tertiary), and musical scale (12 half-steps). Case drew heavily on the work of Edward Maryon (1867-1954), who created Marcotone (You can read more about marcotone inMarcotone: The Science of Tone-Color), and possibly also the Golden Dawn King Scale (similar).

Mantra Method Sigil Generator

As described in Liber Null, a statement of intent can be reduced and then rearranged into a mantrical sigil which can be recited.

Besides the ability to remove vowels and repeated letters from your statement of intent, this is mostly a manual process you perform in the provided text field.

Musical Sigil Generator

I was always fascinated by the idea that sigils didn't have to be visual, so I created a system of generating musical sigils from a statement of intent, which I play myself.

The lines and spaces on the musical staff are assigned 1-9 and then the sigil is created similarly to other sigiles, by using numerology to change your statement of intent into numbers and reducing as neccesary.

In the end you are left with a musical pattern of notes instead of a visual pattern. You can hold the tune in your mind while you charge it just like you would hold the visual in your mind for a standard sigil.

It's a simple system that allows for wiggle room to make it sound nicer than random notes might. Add your own sharps and flats, decide your own tempo and the length of each note.

Ordinal Sigil Generator

The Ordinal Square Sigil Generator uses a simple 1 through 9 grid of numbers placed in order from left to right and top to bottom rather than any type ofmagic square or planetary kamea. This less traditional method has been used at times by the father of modern sigil magick, Austin Osman Spare when not using the more popular word method.

With its very basic tic tac toe grid layout numbered in order 1 through 9, the Ordinal Square Sigil Generator can be used to create sigils without involving the astrological or numeric significances of planetary magic squares (kameas).

There are several reasons you may want to avoid planetary magic squares (kameas). Perhaps astrology just doesn't resonate with you, or give you good results. Or maybe you practice chaos magick and you are trying to break away from the older dogmatic tradition.

Another reason you may want to use the Ordinal Square Sigil Generator is if you are creating your own more abstract systems by swapping in some other characters, gestures, sounds, concepts (or whatever) to replace the numbers 1 through 9. This is how I created an audio method for musical sigils, a kinetic method for yoga poses, a mudra system based on the Kuji-kiri 九字切り (nine symbolic cuts), and even the "9 dirty words" made famous by Lenny Bruce.

Saturn Planetary Sigil Generator

The Saturn Planetary Sigil Generator uses themagic square (kamea) that is astrologically associated with Saturn to generate sigils based on your statement of intent. The Saturn kamea is a 3 by 3 grid with the numbers 1 through 9 that are arranged into a magic square (each row, column, and main diagonal have the same sum).

Lenny Bruce Dirty Word Mantra Generator

Revolutionary and controversial stand-up comedianLenny Bruce was arrested on obscenity charges in 1961 (acquitted), 1962 (dismissed), and 1964 (convicted).

He is seen as an early martyr (he preferred "soldier") of the First Amendment, and his widely publicized 1964 trial included petition, testimony, and support from the likes of Woody Allen, Bob Dylan, Jules Feiffer, Allen Ginsberg, Norman Mailer, William Styron, and James Baldwin.

He later (1966) said that he was for saying the "nine dirty words", and authoredHow to Talk Dirty and Influence People.

Obviously this isn't traditionally part of a magick practice, however a clever chaos magician can use anything that both represents and obfuscates an intent as a sigil. You could work it into conversation. You could charge it as a traditional mantra. You could shout it in public. Use your imagination!

Linking Sigil Map

The Linking Sigil (LS, ·⍼, Ellis) was developed by Domus Koatica Marauder Underground (DKMU).

It was created around 2004 as part of DKMUs “assault on reality”. Since then the Linkind Sigil has developed a kind of sentience or entity associated with it, known as “Ellis” and (probably due to it's web-like nature) is has also been associated with spiders.

The purpose is to energetically link places together forming a global network, like a web, that can be drawn upon in order to access the energy of all these places in your workings.

Chaos Star Sigil Generator

The Chaos Star Sigil Generator was created by chaostarot.com for use in the Trinary web-app. It's built around the visual design of a chaos star (the symbol of chaos magick) rather than a magic square / kamea, and can be used in two different ways to generate a sigil.

The first way to use the chaos star sigil generator is by not adding an intent at all. This will generate a random sigil for you to use in your working. The idea here is that all you need for the process is a symbol which means your intent, and only your intent.

The common practice of generating your sigil by deriving the symbol from the statement of intent is one way to do that, but not the only way (seeAdvanced Magick for Beginners, by Alan Chapman for more on this). A randomly generated sigil could also just as easily be used to mean your intent and only your intent. It's just a different way to create unique symbols, but the end result is still a unique symbol. This also incorporates the relationship between randomness and chaos into the method.

If you don't like the first one you get you can click the dice icon to randomly generate another sigil on the chaos star.

The second way to use the chaos star sigil generator is slightly more traditional. You just input your statement of intent and you will get a sigil generated from the statement of intent. This is done by mapping the characters ordinally 1-8 and using those numbers to place them on a chaos star counter clockwise from the top.

Kuji-in Somatic Sigil Generator

The Kuji-in are nine hand gestures (mudras) which are associated with mantras, meditations, visualizations, rituals, and sometimes even Gods, planets, or stars.

They are used in various practices such as Taoism, Buddhism, Shinto, Daoist magic, East-Asian folk-magic, Onmyodo. They were used by Samurai, Ninja, and various martial arts.

Their first appearance was in 抱朴子, a Chinese Taoist text from c.280-340 CE by by Gé Hóng.

Translation:
"To enter a famous mountain, choose an opening day, which can be determined by its cyclical binary. Hang silk of the five colors, each piece five inches wide, from a large rock, so that you may be sure to succeed in your goal. Furthermore, while entering the mountains you must know the Six-Chia secret prayer. It goes like: "May the presiders over warriors be my vanguard!" This nine word prayer must constantly be recited in secret. It means, "May all evils flee me and the essential procedure present no trouble."

Bikram Yoga Kinetic Sigil Generator

Bikram Yoga is a system of hot yoga consisting of 26 postures. It was created by Bikram Choudhury based on the teachings of B. C. Ghosh.

You can create a yoga flow from your statement of intent and use it as a kinetic sigil. This tool assigns one posture to each letter of the English alphabet.

Using Sigils

Modern sigil practices for manifestation are, for the most part, developed based on the work of Austin Osman Spare.

The theory is that your subconscious is where the magic happens, so you have to instruct your subconscious in a language it understands: symbols. The intent is transformed into a symbol to be thrust into the subconscious (and obscured from the conscious) via a trance-state and then forgotten by the conscious mind.

How to use a sigil

Like a paintbrush, pencil, or photoshop, a sigil generator is only for creating an image (or for learning). You must still develop your statement of intent and charge your sigils. The sigil generator will not do that for you.

There exist several games which involve drawing random numbers.

This generator can help you pick them in advance if you want to attempt forcing or divining the outcome.

Fourfold Breath

The fourfold breath, aka box-breathing aka square breathing is a tehnique where magic shares a lot of overlap with conventional psychology or meditation practices. It's a very common way to relieve stress and promote calmness.

In magic, it can be used in conjuntion with visualization techniques to also aid in magical workings by tying the cyclical breathing in with other cycles like the sun, moon, or seasons.

Tree of Life (Golden Dawn)

This modified version of the traditional tree of life was used by The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.

The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn was a secret occult society from the nineteenth century, whose members included Aleister Crowley, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Pamela Coleman Smith, A.E. Waite, W.B. Years, and many other prominent figures.

It is used similarly tothe traditional rabbinical tree of life from which it was derived.

Tree of Life (traditional)

The tree of life is a diagram showing the relationships and interconnectivity of different aspects of reality/consciousness used in Rabbinical Judaism in kabbalah and other mystical traditions derived from it.

The tree of life as we know it today dates back to the fourteenth century but there were similar diagrams that are much older which possibly inspired it.
