Binnington made 12 saves in Canada's 10-2 rout of France during Olympic round-robin play Sunday.

Canada never trailed in the game after Tom Wilson opened the scoring midway through the first period, and Binnington wasn't terribly busy as his teammates out-shot France 46-14. The St. Louis netminder finished the round robin with a 2-0 record and a .950 save percentage, and he'll get a couple days off before Canada faces the winner of Tuesday's Czechia-Denmark tilt in the quarterfinals Wednesday.

Binnington will defend the net for Canada against France on Sunday at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

He is coming off a 26-save shutout in Canada's 5-0 win over Czechia on Thursday. Binnington wasn't in the lineup for Canada's second game of the tournament, which featured a 24-save performance by Logan Thompson in a 5-1 win over Switzerland.

Luff scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Springfield's 8-6 win over Iowa on Saturday.

Luff has five points over his last two games. That follows a five-game slump, which was his worst dry spell of the campaign. He's at 14 goals, 24 helpers, 97 shots on net and a minus-10 rating through 39 appearances. Based on previous instances, Luff is near the top of the list for call-ups when theBlues need an extra forward.

Stancl scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Springfield's 8-6 win over Iowa on Saturday.

Stancl has four points over his last two games after going seven contests without a point. This was his first multi-point effort since a Dec. 6 hat trick. He has eight goals, seven assists and 51 shots on net over 36 appearances, and he'll likely continue to get development time in the AHL, as his offense isn't really at an NHL-ready level.

Binnington made 26 saves in Canada's 5-0 win over Czechia in Olympic round-robin play Thursday.

Macklin Celebrini gave Canada a 1-0 lead just before the first intermission, and it would prove to be all the offense Binnington would need. The 32-year-old netminder has been having an awful regular season for theBlues in the NHL, but Binnington has a history of coming up big when the spotlight is brightest, from carrying St. Louis to a Stanley Cup as a rookie in 2018-19 to his play in the finals of the 4 Nations Face-Off last February. It's not yet clear whether he'll be in the crease again Friday against Switzerland, or whether Logan Thompson will get a chance to state his case for the top job.

Binnington will draw the starting assignment versus Czechia at the 2026 Winter Olympics on Thursday, per Dan Rosen of NHL.com.

Binnington has struggled during the current NHL season, posting an 8-17-6 record with a 3.65 GAA and an .864 save percentage. Binnington gets the start following his outstanding play at the 4 Nations Face-Off, where he led Canada to the championship over the United States. The Czechs have some NHL players on their roster, including David Pastrnak.

Fischer scored a goal and added an assist in OHL Sault Ste. Marie's 4-2 win over Sudbury on Wednesday.

Fischer has racked up 19 points in 23 appearances with the Greyhounds since a Dec. 8 trade from Sarnia. Overall, the defenseman has put together a pretty steady season with seven goals, 37 points, a plus-6 rating and 98 shots on net over 49 outings. Fischer, a second-round pick of theBlues in 2024, has the potential to be a depth defenseman as a professional.

Dvorsky scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Slovakia's 4-1 win over Finland on Wednesday in the preliminary round of the 2026 Winter Olympics.

He scored a goal at the 7:20 mark of the third period before picking up an assist on Juraj Slafkovsky's power-play tally. The 20-year-old Dvorsky should continue to see plenty of ice time for a Slovakian team that is off to a great start at the tournament. The Slovaks face Italy on Friday.

Carbonneau scored two goals in QMJHL Blainville-Boisbriand's 5-1 win over Val-d'Or on Saturday.

Carbonneau had a rough patch in early January, but he's rebounded with at least a point in 10 of the last 11 games. In that span, he has 11 goals and seven assists. TheBlues prospect is up to 41 goals, 63 points, 23 shots on net and a plus-17 rating across 45 outings this season.

Finley was claimed off waivers by St. Louis from Tampa Bay on Saturday, per Chris Johnston of The Athletic.

Finley had two goals, three points, 21 PIM and 37 hits in 22 outings with Tampa Bay in 2025-26. The 23-year-old will be an option for a spot on theBlues' fourth line, but there's no guarantee that he'll be in the lineup when St. Louis' schedule resumes Feb. 26 versus Seattle.

Faulk logged two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Stars.

Faulk has eight helpers over his last eight games. The veteran defenseman is up to a total of 30 points (11 goals, 19 helpers), 110 shots on net, 97 blocked shots, 44 hits and a minus-3 rating through 57 appearances. He's been theBlues' most reliable defenseman this season and is two points away from matching his total from 78 regular-season outings in 2024-25.

Toropchenko scored a goal on three shots in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Stars.

Toropchenko ended a 12-game point drought with the third-period tally, which tied the contest at 4-4. The 26-year-old forward has remained a regular on the fourth line despite his slump. He's up to three goals, seven points, 42 shots on net, 89 hits, 39 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating through 41 appearances. While he's on pace for his worst full campaign, theBlues decided to keep him around with a two-year contract extension that he signed in January.

Buchnevich scored a power-play goal on three shots in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Stars.

Buchnevich picked up the pace recently with four goals and five assists over his last seven games. Five of those nine points have come on the power play. The 30-year-old forward is up to 12 goals, 34 points (13 on the power play), 107 shots on net and a minus-15 rating across 57 outings, primarily in a top-six role.

Snuggerud scored a goal, added an assist and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Stars.

Snuggerud picked up both points in the third period to help theBlues tie the game at 4-4 before Jamie Benn delivered a heartbreaker in the final minute. This performance extended Snuggerud's point streak to six games (three goals, six assists). The 21-year-old winger is looking more comfortable in a top-line role. He's now at 10 goals, 24 points, 95 shots on net, 49 hits, 28 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 45 appearances this season.

Kyrou scored a goal on four shots and added a power-play assist in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Stars.

This was Kyrou's fourth multi-point effort in the last six games. In that span, he's earned four goals and six assists. The 27-year-old winger is up to a total of 13 goals, 32 points (11 on the power play), 123 shots on net and a minus-7 rating through 47 appearances. He's had better years, but it looks like he's turning things around, and he should continue to see steady top-six minutes.

Binnington stopped 23 of 28 shots in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Stars.

Binnington nearly got this game to overtime, but Jamie Benn tallied with 23 seconds left in the third period to break theBlues' hearts. This was Binnington's seventh straight regulation loss, and he's allowed at least four goals in five of those defeats. The Team Canada goalie has an 8-17-6 record with a 3.65 GAA and an .864 save percentage over 32 appearances this season. It's unclear if he'll get much playing time at the Olympics, but if he does, he should benefit from having a much stronger team in front of him. That could be the spark Binnington needs to get his NHL season back on track after the break.

Bordeleau and a conditional 2026 fourth-round pick were traded to theBlues from the Devils on Wednesday in exchange for Nick Bjugstad.

Bordeleau appeared in 44 games with the Sharks in the past four seasons, but he hasn't made an appearance at the NHL level yet in 2025-26 Over 35 appearances with AHL Utica this campaign, he has posted two goals, six assists, 37 PIM and a minus-13 rating. He'll presumably report to AHL Springfield following the trade.

Binnington is expected to start on the road against Dallas on Wednesday.

Binnington has lost his past six outings while posting a 4.38 GAA and an .829 save percentage. That gives him an 8-16-6 record, 3.60 GAA and .866 save percentage in 31 appearances in 2025-26. Dallas has won its past five games while outscoring the competition 19-14 over that stretch.
