Halttunen has earned six points over his last seven games. This was his second multi-goal effort and first hat trick in the AHL. The Finnish forward is at 10 goals, 20 points and 86 shots on net through 42 appearances this season. The 20-year-old is a talented prospect who projects as a power winger in the long run, but he still has plenty of development to do.

Celebrini scored two goals, one on the power play and the other on a penalty shot, and added an even-strength assist in Canada's 10-2 win over France in Olympic round-robin action Sunday.

The 19-year-old phenom continues to make history in Milan. Celebrini became the first NHL player to ever score on a penalty shot in the Olympics when he beat Julian Junca late in the second period -- something Sidney Crosby failed to do on his attempt in 2010, and both Patrick Kane and Corey Perry whiffed on in 2014. Celebrini also now holds the Olympic record for most goals by a teenager with four in only three games, and he's tied Evgeni Malkin's record for most points by a teenager with six. The San Jose star will look to claim that record for himself in Canada's quarterfinal game Wednesday, against either Denmark or Czechia.

Mutryn scored a goal and added two assists in QMJHL Moncton's 11-1 win over Halifax on Friday.

Mutryn is sizzling in February with four goals and 10 points over his last four contests. His surge corresponds with a strong run for Moncton, which is on a 10-game winning streak. Overall, Mutryn has 25 goals, 32 assists and a plus-22 rating over 45 appearances for the Wildcats.

Celebrini recorded a goal and an assist in Canada's 5-1 win over Switzerland in the 2026 Winter Olympics on Friday.

Celebrini opened his Olympic campaign with a goal in the opener and now added two more points, giving him three over his first two appearances. He looks increasingly comfortable skating alongside the likes of Connor McDavid and Nathan MacKinnon, so Celebrini should continue to have tons of opportunities to keep scoring as the tournament progresses.

Wetsch posted four assists in WHL Kelowna's 8-4 win over Wenatchee on Wednesday.

Wetsch is up to 17 goals and 39 helpers through 48 appearances this season. TheSharks prospect had been in a little bit of a rough patch recently, with just four points over his previous seven outings. Wednesday's effort helped him set a career high in points in his fourth junior campaign, surpassing the 53 points he had in 68 regular-season contests in 2024-25.

Mutryn scored a goal and added three assists in QMJHL Moncton's 10-4 win over Charlottetown on Saturday.

Mutryn has started February with three goals and four assists over three games. That's just two points less than he had over 10 outings in January. For the season, theSharks prospect is at 24 goals, 30 helpers and a plus-21 rating over 44 appearances. Mutryn's QMJHL dominance is likely to be a one-season special, as he is committed to Boston College for 2026-27.

Afanasyev scored twice in AHL San Jose's 7-3 win over Abbotsford on Friday.

Afanasyev had a seven-game point streak snapped Wednesday, but he bounced right back. The 25-year-old winger is still waiting for a chance with the big club, but he's earned nine goals and 22 points over 35 outings this season. He had 54 points in 56 regular-season contests in 2023-24 and spent 2024-25 in the KHL.

Huntington scored a goal and added two assists in AHL San Jose's 7-3 win over Abbotsford on Friday.

Huntington has really picked up the pace with four goals and eight assists over his last nine games. That surge has him up to 29 points in 41 appearances for the Barracuda this season. Huntington is filling an AHL veteran role in 2025-26, so he probably won't get any NHL time.

Liljegren scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Avalanche.

Liljegren has two points over his last three outings. The 26-year-old defenseman has played a majority of the time lately, but he offers only modest upside on offense. For the season, he's at one goal, 11 points, 34 shots on net, 36 hits, 83 blocked shots, 27 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 42 appearances.

Kurashev scored a goal in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Avalanche.

Kurashev recorded an assist in the loss to the Blackhawks on Monday and now scored a goal in the loss to Colorado, so he'll enter the Olympic break on a strong note. The 26-year-old winger missed time with an upper-body injury that sidelined him for 19 games between Dec. 16 and Jan. 29, but even if he stays healthy after the break, his bottom-six role will probably limit his fantasy upside.

Askarov stopped 38 of 41 shots in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Avalanche. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Askarov continues to struggle when called upon, but to be fair, the Avalanche have one of the top offenses in the league. The 23-year-old enters the Olympic break on a sour note since he's gone 2-5-1 with a 4.09 GAA and a subpar .858 save percentage in his last nine appearances.

Askarov will tend the twine for Wednesday's road game against Colorado, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Askarov has largely struggled over the past few weeks, going 1-4-1 with a 4.04 GAA and .844 save percentage over his last six starts. He was pulled from Monday's loss to Chicago midway through the second period but will return to the crease Wednesday for theSharks' final game before the Olympic break. The Avalanche lead the league with 3.83 goals per game this season.

Sherwood (upper body) will be activated from injured reserve to play against Colorado on Wednesday, per Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News.

Sherwood hasn't played since Jan. 10 due to the injury and will make his San Jose debut after being acquired from Vancouver on Jan. 19. Based on Tuesday's practice, he could skate on the top line and work on the second power-play unit. He has 17 goals and 23 points in 44 outings in 2025-26. Pavol Regenda is likely to be a healthy scratch versus the Avalanche due to Sherwood's return.

Reaves (upper body) was put on injured reserve Tuesday, according to Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News.

Reaves is ineligible to play Wednesday in Colorado, which is theSharks' final game before the Olympic break. The 39-year-old's placement on injured reserve has opened up a roster spot for the Sharks, which could pave the way for Kiefer Sherwood (upper body) to be activated from his own IR stint and make his debut with the team Wednesday.

Reaves is dealing with an upper-body injury and is questionable to play in Colorado on Wednesday, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

Head coach Ryan Warsofsky wouldn't rule Reaves out for Wednesday's game, but the winger didn't practice Tuesday, so it seems unlikely he will be an option against the Avalanche. Reaves has failed to register a point in his last 14 outings, going minus-5 in that span, so his potential absence is unlikely to affect the majority of fantasy managers.

Kurashev notched an assist and three hits in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Blackhawks.

This was Kurashev's second outing since he returned from a 19-game absence due to an upper-body injury. The 26-year-old was able to get on the scoresheet against his former team. He's at 16 points in 33 contests this season, compared to 14 points with a minus-28 rating in 51 appearances with the Blackhawks last year. Kurashev has found a steady middle-six role for theSharks, though his play on offense is only good enough to help in deeper fantasy formats.

Mukhamadullin scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Blackhawks.

Mukhamadullin has played in two games since returning from an 11-game absence. The 24-year-old is filling a third-pairing role for now, though theSharks have often shuffled their defensive duos this season, so he could earn a larger role. He's produced seven points, 22 shots on net, 32 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through 25 appearances.

Smith scored a goal on three shots and went minus-2 in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Blackhawks.

Smith has three goals and five assists during his five-game point streak. The 20-year-old continues to thrive on the top line as he closes in on matching his rookie-year numbers. He's at 17 goals, 39 points, 101 shots on net and a minus-2 rating through 41 appearances this season, compared to 18 goals and 45 points in 74 outings in 2024-25.
