Chmelar scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Hartford's 3-2 win over Charlotte on Saturday.

Chmelar had recorded just one goal over his last nine outings. He's posted five multi-point efforts in the AHL this season. Overall, he's at eight goals, 23 points and 67 shots on net through 40 appearances for Hartford, and he saw six games of action with theRangers but didn't record a point.

Zibanejad scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Sweden's 5-2 win over Italy in Olympic round-robin play Wednesday.

TheRangers sniper helped set up Sweden's opening goal of the Olympics by Gabriel Landeskog in the first period, before potting his own late in the third. Zibanejad was part of a Swedish attack that fired an incredible 59 shots at the Italian net, and the 32-year-old figures to have a key role in the offense for one of the tournament favorites.

Aspinall scored twice and added an assist in OHL Flint's 5-1 win over Sault Ste. Marie on Friday.

Aspinall snapped a five-game goal drought with the effort. He's earned nine points over his last four outings, and he crossed the 70-point mark for the season with Friday's performance. He's at 26 goals, 45 helpers and a plus-23 rating in just 48 appearances this season, nearly doubling his points-per-game pace from last year (1.48 in 2025-26 compared to 0.76 in 2024-25).

Greentree scored a goal and added two assists in OHL Windsor's 5-2 win over Sudbury on Friday.

Greentree was involved in a major trade at the NHL level, with his rights going to theRangers in exchange for Artemi Panarin. That potentially gives him an easier path to the NHL in the long run -- the Rangers are firmly in a rebuilding cycle, while the Kings are trying to keep a competitive window open and have been a tough team to break into the lineup for as a young player. The 20-year-old is at 24 goals, 48 points, 124 shots on net and a plus-12 rating through 36 outings in the OHL this season, and he'll likely be a big part of the Spitfires' offense during the playoffs.

Rempe has just one goal in 26 appearances this season after Thursday's 2-0 loss to the Hurricanes.

He hasn't gotten on the scoresheet in 17 games since returning from an upper-body injury, and his point drought is at a total of 23 contests. The physical fourth-liner has added 15 shots on net, 86 hits, 11 PIM and a minus-4 rating this season. Rempe's injury was sustained in a fight against Ryan Reaves back in October, and while he's good enough to play, Rempe is protecting the injury by not dropping the gloves much. He's a risky option at the best of times in fantasy, and that risk is even more obvious if he won't supply a steady source of PIM.

Quick stopped 41 of 42 shots in Thursday's 2-0 loss to the Hurricanes, with Carolina's final goal getting scored into an empty net.

The 40-year-old netminder got beaten clean by Andrei Svechnikov early in the first period, but Quick shut the door the rest of the way and made a season-high 41 saves to keep his team in the game. With the Olympic break on tap and Igor Shesterkin (lower body) expected back once the NHL resumes play, Quick's stint as New York's No. 1 in net may have come to an end, and likely not a moment too soon. Over 10 outings since the beginning of January, he went 1-8-1 with a 4.22 GAA and .852 save percentage.

Ollas was recalled from ECHL Bloomington on Thursday.

Ollas will be with theRangers during the Olympic break. That will keep him from playing in the ECHL, but he will be sent back down following the break. This move was made so Spencer Martin can stay in a playing rhythm with AHL Hartford.

Martin was reassigned to AHL Hartford on Thursday.

Martin will return to the AHL during the NHL's Olympic break. The 30-year-old may stay there after the break if Igor Shesterkin (lower body) is ready to return when play resumes Feb. 26 versus the Flyers.

Blidh was reassigned to AHL Hartford on Thursday.

Blidh was held off the scoresheet in Thursday's 2-0 loss to the Hurricanes. He'll play with Hartford during the NHL's Olympic break.

Quick is expected to defend the home crease versus Carolina on Thursday, per Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic.

Quick got off to a nice start this season, winning three of his first four assignments, but it has not gone well for the 40-year-old netminder since mid-November. Quick is 1-12-2 with a 3.78 GAA and an .865 save percentage in 15 starts since his 3-1-0 start. Overall, Quick has a 4-13-2 record with a 3.22 GAA and an .883 save percentage. The Hurricanes won't provide much relief for Quick, as they are fifth in NHL scoring, tallying 3.41 goals per game.

Mackey was reassigned to AHL Hartford on Wednesday.

TheRangers recalled Anton Blidh from the minors in a corresponding move. Mackey hasn't played in the NHL yet this campaign, but he has two goals, seven points and 54 PIM in 35 outings with Hartford in 2025-26.

Blidh spent the past week and a half in the minors but will rejoin theRangers ahead of Thursday's game against Carolina. He's made three appearances with the NHL club this year, recording an assist, eight hits and a plus-1 rating while averaging 7:15 of ice time.

Greentree and a conditional third-round pick were traded to theRangers from the Kings on Wednesday in exchange for Artemi Panarin, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The Kings selected Greentree with the 26th overall pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. Across 34 appearances with OHL Windsor this season, he has 23 goals, 22 assists, 46 PIM and a plus-11 rating. He's behind the pace that he set last year when he posted 119 points across 64 OHL regular-season appearances, but the 20-year-old has still shown plenty of promise at the junior level.

Edstrom (lower body) has been skating on his own and might be ready by the end of the Olympic break, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports Wednesday.

Edstrom is on long-term injured reserve and hasn't played since Nov. 29. He has two goals, four points, 48 hits and 13 blocks in 24 appearances in 2025-26. Edstrom is likely to be in the mix for a fourth-line role once he's healthy.

Laba (upper body) feels ready to play Thursday versus Carolina, per Peter Baugh of The Athletic.

Laba exited Saturday's match against Pittsburgh, but it seems he won't miss a full game due to the injury. He has eight goals, 16 points, 22 PIM and 72 hits in 53 outings in 2025-26. Laba will probably play in a bottom-six role against the Hurricanes.

Head coach Mike Sullivan said Monday thatLaba (upper body) is considered day-to-day, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports.

Laba exited Saturday's matchup against the Penguins due to an upper-body injury, but Sullivan seemed to downplay the severity of the issue. Laba participated in Monday's practice session and seems to have a chance to suit up Thursday against the Hurricanes.

Schneider notched an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Penguins.

Schneider has three helpers over his last eight outings. The 24-year-old defenseman is seeing steady top-four minutes, mainly as a defensive presence, while Adam Fox (lower body) remains out. Schneider is up to 11 points, 74 shots on net, 120 hits, 89 blocked shots and a minus-14 rating through 56 appearances. His physicality gives him some appeal in deep fantasy formats, but he's on pace for his lowest-scoring season since his rookie year of 2021-22.
