Shesterkin will start Sunday's road game against Calgary, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

Shesterkin has been in the midst of a cold spell, going 0-2-2 with a 2.75 GAA and .890 save percentage over his last four appearances. However, he'll draw a third consecutive start Sunday and will have a favorable matchup against the Flames, who are averaging a league-worst 1.67 goals per game to begin the season.

Rempe (upper body) didn't travel with theRangers to Calgary ahead of Saturday's clash against the Flames, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports.

Rempe is still being evaluated after suffering the upper-body injury during Thursday's 6-5 overtime loss to San Jose. If he's not with the team in Calgary, it seems reasonable to believe he'll also miss Tuesday's clash in Vancouver. It wouldn't be surprising if Rempe is also out for Thursday's game in Edmonton, but that's far enough in the future that there's still a chance he'll rejoin the team on the road by then. The 23-year-old has a goal, seven PIM and 30 hits in nine outings this year. Brennan Othmann might draw into the lineup due to Rempe's absence.

Boilard scored twice and added an assist in QMJHL Shawinigan's 7-4 win over Sherbrooke.

Boilard is up to nine points through his first 10 games with the Cataractes. He's earned them in a trio of three-point efforts over his last five contests after moving past a slow start to the season. TheRangers prospect still needs to work on consistency at the junior level, especially as a fourth-round pick (2024) whose path to the NHL may take a few twists and turns.

Parssinen scored a goal and went plus-2 in Thursday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Sharks.

Parssinen has played in four straight games and has scored twice in that span. The 24-year-old is occupying a bottom-six spot but looks to have an edge over Jonny Brodzinski to stay in the lineup at this time. Parssinen has three points, four shots on net, six hits and a plus-3 rating across five appearances this season.

Zibanejad scored a power-play goal on two shots in Thursday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Sharks.

Zibanejad is gaining momentum with two goals and two helpers over his last three games. The 32-year-old hasn't been immune from theRangers' inconsistent offense this season -- he has a total of five points with 33 shots on net, 11 hits, six blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over nine appearances. He was set for a smaller role initially but has filled in during all situations in the absence of Vincent Trocheck (upper body), who won't be back before early November.

Othmann was called up from AHL Hartford on Friday.

Othmann was selected 16th overall in the first round in 2021, but at the age of 22, he has yet to establish himself in the NHL. Othmann played 25 regular-season games with theRangers over the past two campaigns, picking up only two assists. Othmann had one assist in four AHL games before his recall.

Miller picked up two assists, one on the power play, in Thursday's 6-5 overtime loss to San Jose.

After helping to set up Mika Zibanejad for a tally early in the second period, Miller fed Taylor Raddysh for his third goal of the night midway through the third to tie things up at 5-5. Miller, along with the rest of theRangers, has had a bumpy start to the season, but the veteran center still has two goals and six points in nine games.

Raddysh scored three goals, one shorthanded, on three shots in Thursday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Sharks.

The 27-year-old winger found the back of the net in each regulation period, but he couldn't bail out theRangers' woeful defensive effort with a fourth goal in OT. Although it was Raddysh's second career NHL hat trick, he came into the contest with just one point (another goal) in eight games this season, so a repeat effort any time soon is unlikely.

Shesterkin made 18 saves in Thursday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Sharks.

TheRangers' defense was simply awful, consistently struggling to clear the zone or put a body on San Jose skaters camped out in front of the crease, and Shesterkin had little chance at any of the pucks that got past him. It was the first time this season the 29-year-old netminder had given up more than two goals in a start, and even after Thursday's disaster, he still carries a 1.86 GAA and a .930 save percentage in seven outings -- numbers that are badly out of sync with his 2-3-2 record.

Rempe sustained an upper-body injury and won't return to Thursday's game against San Jose.

Rempe logged just 19 seconds of ice time before exiting the game, but he did receive a five-minute fighting major for sparring with San Jose's Ryan Reaves at 5:55 of the first period. Rempe entered Thursday's action with a goal, two PIM and 30 hits in eight appearances this year. If Rempe can't play Sunday in Calgary, then Jonny Brodzinski will probably draw into the lineup.

Shesterkin will be hoping for any goal support from his teammates, who have scored just once in four home games so far. The 29-year-old has a 2-3-1 record, but his 1.17 GAA and .957 save percentage are more indicative of the quality of his play to begin 2025-26.

Aspinall signed a three-year, entry-level contract with theRangers on Thursday, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports.

Aspinall was selected in the fifth round, 159th overall, in the 2024 Draft. The big winger is off to a great start with OHL Flint this season, tallying six goals and adding four assists in six games. He will likely head to the AHL next season for seasoning.

Garand posted a 28-save shutout in AHL Hartford's 3-0 win over Springfield on Wednesday.

Garand has started three of the Wolf Pack's four games so far and finally got his first win of the season. It was also the ninth shutout of his AHL career. Based on the early usage, and his 2.04 GAA and .931 save percentage to begin 2025-26, Garand might have the edge over Talyn Boyko should theRangers need to make a call-up in the crease.

Panarin scored his second goal of the season in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Wild.

The 33-year-old found some open ice just 57 seconds into the first period and snapped the puck past Filip Gustavsson, but theRangers' offense then went cold once again for the remaining 59 minutes. Panarin has managed to be productive despite the struggles of his teammates, recording seven points in eight games with 19 shots on net and a minus-1 rating.

Shesterkin stopped 29 of 31 shots in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Wild, with Minnesota's final goal getting scored into an empty net.

The star netminder has yet to allow more than two goals in a start this season, posting a dazzling 1.17 GAA and .957 save percentage in six outings, but he has just a 2-3-1 record to show for it.

Morrow was assigned to AHL Hartford on Monday.

Morrow was called up by theRangers on Wednesday, but he didn't appear in any games during his stint with the NHL club. He should have more consistent opportunities to get onto the ice in the minors.
