Wallstedt will defend the home net against San Jose on Sunday, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic.

Wallstedt will get the second half of Minnesota's back-to-back after Filip Gustavsson played in Saturday's 6-2 loss to Utah. The 22-year-old Wallstedt has a 1-0-1 record this season while stopping 50 of the 55 shots he has faced. San Jose sits 22nd in the league with 2.88 goals per game this campaign.

Foligno (upper body) won't play Sunday against the Sharks, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.

Foligno left Saturday's game against the Mammoth late in the contest, and he won't be in the lineup Sunday for theWild. The 34-year-old has had a quiet start to the season, recording no points, a minus-7 rating and 29 hits in the first nine games of the season. With Foligno out of the lineup, Tyler Pitlick is set to draw in for Minnesota.

Petersen posted a 24-save shutout in AHL Iowa's 2-0 win over Texas on Saturday.

Petersen earned his first shutout for Iowa, and it was his first win with the team. He's struggled early this season, allowing nine goals on 75 shots so far. Petersen is unlikely to see NHL action unless Filip Gustavsson or Jesper Wallstedt get hurt.

Hinostroza logged a power-play assist in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Mammoth.

Hinostroza's helper was his first point in nine outings this season. The long-term absence of Mats Zuccarello (lower body) has allowed Hinostroza to stay in the lineup early in the season. The 31-year-old Hinostroza hasn't been all that impressive, adding just seven shots on net, 13 hits and a minus-6 rating. Fantasy managers can find more productive wingers on the waiver wire.

Johansson scored two goals, one on the power play, in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Mammoth.

The veteran winger was the onlyWild skater able to solve Karel Vejmelka in the contest. He found the back of the net in the first and second periods to give his team some life after falling behind 3-0 early. It was Johansson's first multi-point performance of the season, and through nine games, he's produced three goals and six points.

Gustavsson stopped 35 of 40 shots in Saturday's 6-2 loss to Utah, with the Mammoth's final goal getting scored into an empty net.

Utah scored three times in the first five minutes of the first period, and Minnesota never recovered. It's the third time in seven starts that Gustavsson has surrendered five or more goals, and after alternating good and bad seasons over the last few years, it's beginning to look like he's headed for another bad one. Through seven outings to begin 2025-26, Gustavsson is 2-5-0 with a 3.34 GAA and an .897 save percentage.

Olausson scored a goal and added an assist in AHL Iowa's 3-1 win over Texas on Friday.

Olausson was traded to theWild organization from the Sharks last Friday. This was his debut with Iowa, and he made a great first impression. The 22-year-old has yet to really emerge as a scoring threat in the AHL, failing to log more than 30 points in any of his first three regular seasons in the league.

Gustavsson picked up a shutout Opening Night, stopping 26 St. Louis shots in a 5-0 win. It has not been pretty since then, as Gustavsson is 2-4-0 overall with a 3.03 GAA and a .902 save percentage. The Mammoth exploded for seven goals Thursday in St. Louis and are tied for seventh overall in scoring, averaging 3.50 goals per game.

Gustavsson stopped 31 of 34 shots in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Devils. The fourth goal was an empty-netter with 1:17 left in the third period.

Minnesota was pushing for a late comeback by the time Jesper Bratt scored the Devils' fourth goal. Gustavsson has posted a save percentage above .910 in his last two games after struggling in his previous appearances, but theWild's defensive issues will continue to limit his fantasy upside. All things considered, Gustavsson has gone 2-4-0 with a 3.03 GAA and a .902 save percentage through six games in 2025-26, stopping 165 of the 183 shots he's faced. It's still early in the season, but those numbers represent a downgrade compared to what he did in 2024-25 (2.56 GAA, .914 save percentage).

Boldy scored a goal in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to New Jersey.

Boldy accounted for all the offense theWild could muster with a wrister at the 10:37 mark of the third period. This was Boldy's fifth goal of the campaign, and the 24-year-old is enjoying an excellent start to the season with points in all but one of his eight appearances so far. Boldy has 11 points (five goals, six assists), 33 shots, five hits and three blocked shots, and six of those points (three goals, three assists) have come on the power play.

Rossi (lower body) is slated to play Wednesday against New Jersey, per Joe Smith of The Athletic.

Rossi missed Monday's 3-1 win against the Rangers due to the injury. He has a goal and five points in six appearances this season. Rossi's anticipated return will probably result in Ben Jones being a healthy scratch versus the Devils.

Gustavsson will get the starting nod on the road versus the Devils on Wednesday,Wild radio broadcaster Joe O'Donnell reports.

Gustavsson is coming off a 23-save performance against the Rangers on Monday in which he secured his second victory of the season. It's been an up-and-down start to the campaign for the 27-year-old netminder, as he has given up five or more goals twice in just five outings while also posting a shutout in the season opener. Despite the inconsistencies, Gustavsson figures to remain the No. 1 option ahead of Jesper Wallstedt.

Bogosian (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

Minnesota recalled Hunter Haight in a corresponding move. Bogosian has already missed the last two games and won't be eligible to play in Wednesday's matchup against New Jersey. However, a timeline for his return remains unclear. Bogosian hasn't earned a point in five appearances this season while collecting five shots on goal, nine blocked shots and six hits.

Haight was recalled from AHL Iowa on Tuesday.

Haight figures to serve as an emergency depth option in case Marco Rossi (lower body) is unable to play in Wednesday's matchup with the Devils. Even if Rossi is ruled out, Haight is far from a lock to face New Jersey and would need to edge out Ben Jones for a spot in the lineup.

Brodin scored a goal, blocked three shots and went plus-2 in Monday's 3-1 win over the Rangers.

Brodin has gotten on the scoresheet in two straight games, earning a goal and an assist. His tally at 5:10 of the first period Monday answered Artemi Panarin's goal from the opening minute. Brodin has added four shots on goal, 10 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through six appearances, and he'll continue to fill a shutdown role with top-four minutes.
