Fiala (lower leg fracture) will be reevaluated at the end of the regular season, theKings announced Sunday.

Fiala has not yet been ruled out of the playoffs, though the Kings are in a precarious position, sitting three points out of a playoff spot at the Olympic break. Fiala sustained a lower-leg fracture Friday in Switzerland's Olympic group-stage game versus Canada, and the injury required surgery. Expect the Kings to place Fiala on long-term injured reserve eventually to free up some cap space. Fantasy managers in redraft leagues can cut Fiala at this point since he won't be back before mid-April at the earliest.

Fiala sustained the injury in the third period against Canada on Friday after getting tangled up with Tom Wilson in the Swiss zone. Fiala was carted off the ice on a stretcher with three minutes remaining in the contest. There is no timeline for his return, and the exact nature of the surgery remains unclear, but the hope is that he will be ready for the start of training camp in September. Fiala had 18 goals and 22 points in 56 appearances with theKings this season.

Chovan scored two goals in OHL Sudbury's 4-1 win over Brampton on Friday.

Chovan had gone four games without a multi-point effort, his longest such stretch since December. He's up to 17 goals and 37 points through 46 appearances. TheKings prospect remains a positive part of Sudbury's offense, though the team's struggles have shown up in his minus-28 rating this season.

Brzustewicz scored a goal on nine shots and added two assists in OHL London's 4-3 shootout win over Sault Ste. Marie on Friday.

Brzustewicz showed off some offense in this contest, which was just his second three-point outing of the season. Both have come over the last 12 games, a span in which he has four goals and 13 helpers. For the season, theKings prospect is at 16 goals, 40 points and a minus-19 rating over 45 appearances, showing mixed results as his offense has grown but his defense has suffered.

Reeder scored twice in the University of Denver's 5-2 win over the University of Nebraska-Omaha on Friday.

Reeder is up to eight goals and a career-best 23 points in 32 appearances for the Pioneers this season. He had 21 points in 44 outings as a freshman last year. TheKings prospect has slowed down in the second half of the campaign but continues to show growth in his sophomore season.

Fiala (leg) picked up an injury in Switzerland's 5-1 loss to Canada on Friday and will miss the remainder of the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Fiala had to leave the ice three minutes before the end of regulation after a collision with Canada's Tom Wilson. Switzerland will have to move forward without Fiala, who played on the team's top line alongside New Jersey's Nico Hischier and Timo Meier to begin the tournament. It remains to be seen whether Fiala will be out for an extended period of time beyond the Olympics. The 29-year-old winger has posted 18 goals, 22 assists and 147 shots on goal across 56 games with Los Angeles this season. If he misses time beyond the Olympics, theKings' offense might have to ease the newly-acquired Artemi Panarin into the system without one of the team's top weapons.

Fiala was taken off the ice on a stretcher after sustaining an apparent left leg injury during Switzerland's game against Canada on Friday at the 2026 Winter Olympics, Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports.

Fiala sustained his injury when he got tangled up with Tom Wilson in the third period of Friday's matchup. It's not yet clear how Fiala's injury will impact his status for the remainder of the Olympics or for theKings once the NHL resumes play in late February. Over 56 appearances with Los Angeles to begin the year, he's recorded 18 goals, 22 assists, 39 hits, 34 PIM and 24 blocked shots while averaging 19:07 of ice time.

Ziemmer scored three goals in AHL Ontario's 4-3 win over Bakersfield on Saturday.

Ziemmer had come into this game a bit cold with just two assists over his previous eight games. Even with the hat trick, he has just six goals and 16 points through 34 outings this season. This is the 21-year-old's first professional campaign, and it'll be at least a couple of years before he's competing for NHL minutes regularly.

Hicketts was reassigned to AHL Ontario on Friday.

Hicketts was called up for a pair of games, but he was a healthy scratch in both contests. Hicketts will link back up with the Reign, with whom he had three goals and 11 assists across 41 AHL contests before his recall.

Kopitar logged an assist in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Golden Knights.

This was Kopitar's first point in four games since he returned from a lower-body injury that sidelined him for 11 contests. The 38-year-old has resumed his top-six role, but his farewell season continues to be lacking in production. He's now at 22 points, 51 shots on net, 37 blocked shots, 22 hits and a plus-12 rating over 41 appearances. He's never finished a season below the 40-point mark, but he's at risk of doing that in 2025-26.

Moore scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Golden Knights.

Moore had gone five games without a goal after scoring in his Jan. 24 return from an upper-body injury. The winger is now at seven goals, 15 points, 80 shots, 31 hits, 24 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through 44 outings this season. Moore's currently seeing top-six minutes, but his lack of consistent offense makes him a risky option for fantasy managers.

Forsberg stopped 18 of 22 shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Golden Knights.

All four goals were surrendered within the first 14 minutes of the game. Forsberg was forced to wear this one, as Darcy Kuemper was in goal for Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Kraken. Forsberg is down to 9-7-5 after his first regulation loss in 2026. He's added a 2.57 GAA and a .907 save percentage in 22 appearances this season. Forsberg should start one of the first two games after the Olympic break, either Feb. 25 versus Vegas or Feb. 26 versus the Oilers.

Kuzmenko (upper body) won't return to Thursday's game versus the Golden Knights.

Kuzmenko was initially injured in the first period. He made a brief return in the second but left for good prior to the third. The 30-year-old's injury comes at a decent time, as he'll have until Feb. 25 before theKings are back in action for a rematch with Vegas.

Forsberg is expected to start on the road against Vegas on Thursday, per Zach Dooley of theKings' official site.

Forsberg has a 9-6-5 record, 2.50 GAA and .910 save percentage in 21 outings with the Kings in 2025-26. He stopped 31 of 34 shots en route to a 3-2 overtime loss to Carolina on Sunday. Vegas earned a 5-2 win over Vancouver on Wednesday, which ended the Golden Knights' five-game losing streak (0-3-2).

Anderson was put on injured reserve Thursday, per the NHL media site.

Anderson missed Wednesday's game against Seattle and will sit out Thursday in Vegas as well. The 26-year-old blueliner has two goals and seven assists in 54 games, including just two helpers in his last 26 appearances.

Fiala notched two power-play assists, three shots on goal and two hits in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Kraken.

Fiala had gone two games without a point. He has three multi-point efforts over his last 10 outings, earning two goals and seven assists in that span. For the season, the 29-year-old winger is up to 40 points (17 on the power play) with 145 shots on net, 39 hits, 34 PIM and a minus-10 rating across 55 appearances.

Kuzmenko scored a pair of power-play goal on four shots in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Kraken.

Kuzmenko celebrated his 30th birthday with his first multi-point effort since Jan. 5 versus the Wild. While he had a good performance, the rest of theKings couldn't say the same. Kuzmenko is currently in a middle-six role, though it's his power-play time that could spark his offense. For the season, the winger has 13 goals, 23 points, 68 shots on net and a minus-4 rating over 50 appearances, with 13 of his points coming on the power play.

Kuemper surrendered four goals on 23 shots in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Kraken.

Kuemper has gone 2-4-3 with a 3.36 GAA and an .864 save percentage over his last 10 outings. That's not great momentum to take into the Olympics, where he'll be representing Team Canada. Kuemper is at 14-11-9 record with a 2.59 GAA and a .900 save percentage over 36 appearances. If he gets into any Olympic games, he should benefit from Canada's strong defensive core, which includesKings teammate Drew Doughty. Look for Anton Forsberg to handle the net Thursday versus the Golden Knights in the second half of the back-to-back.
