Steeves scored twice and added an assist in AHL Charlotte's 9-0 win over Hartford on Monday.

Steeves had gone five games without a point prior to Monday. Before that, he had seven goals and six assists over a nine-game stretch. Steeves is at 18 goals, 32 points, 62 PIM and 119 shots on net over 46 contests this season, which is already better than his 28-point effort from 60 regular-season outings in 2024-25.

Gerasimyuk posted a 20-save shutout in AHL Charlotte's 9-0 win over Hartford on Monday.

Gerasimyuk is 5-5-1 on the season, but three of his wins have come via shutout. Charlotte's defense has also helped -- he's faced 20 shots or less in seven of his 12 outings this season, with only one of those instances being a relief appearance. He's added a sturdy 2.19 GAA and a .906 save percentage as he continues to do well in limited action for the Checkers.

Tkachuk had two assists, including one on the power play, in the United States' 5-1 win over Germany on Sunday in the 2026 Olympics.

Tkachuk has yet to score a goal for Team USA, but he's been outstanding as a playmaker with five assists over the team's first three group-stage contests. He ranks second among all skaters in assists, trailing only Connor McDavid, who has seven.

Lundell (illness) won't play against Italy on Saturday at the 2026 Winter Olympics, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Lundell will miss at least one game, and his roommate, Oliver Kapanen, won't be in the lineup, either. However, it's unclear if Kapanen is also feeling under the weather. The 24-year-old Lundell has one goal in two games for Finland at the tournament.

Tkachuk distributed two assists and fired four shots on net in the United States' 5-1 win over Latvia in Olympic round-robin play Thursday.

Tkachuk secured his two-point performance inside the first two periods of the contest. He picked up his first helper with the primary pass to his brother, Brady Tkachuk, for the opening tally before later helping Brock Nelson score the United States' fourth goal. Between a limited sample size with thePanthers this season and the Olympic opener, Tkachuk has showcased a steady involvement in both offenses. The assistant captain earned a spot on the United States' top line and power-play unit, which gives him the chance to post big offensive numbers in the Olympic tournament.

Marchand (undisclosed) will be good to go for Canada's opening game of the 2026 Winter Olympics against Czechia on Thursday, per Pierre LeBrun and Chris Johnston of The Athletic.

Marchand missed 10 of Florida's final 15 games before the Olympic break while nursing a lingering injury. He has accounted for 25 goals, 50 points and 127 shots on net in 46 NHL appearances this season. According to Mark Masters of TSN, Marchand skated on Canada's second line alongside Nathan MacKinnon and Nick Suzuki during Sunday's practice.

Black recorded a 27-save shutout in AHL Charlotte's 3-0 win over Grand Rapids on Friday.

Black has played in 27 games this season, going 18-7-2 with a 2.45 GAA and a .904 save percentage. He picked up his first shutout of the campaign and the fourth of his AHL career with this effort. Black was good in a limited role in 2024-25, and while his numbers have dipped a bit, he's still playing pretty well. The 24-year-old would likely be the next man up for thePanthers, which could be a situation that comes to pass if Daniil Tarasov (lower body) is still injured after the Olympic break.

Hovorka was loaned to AHL Charlotte on Friday.

Hovorka made his NHL debut Thursday against the Lightning, posting a minus-3 rating in 11:27 of ice time. However, his demotion a day later will allow him to continue to see playing time in the AHL during the Olympic break.

Boqvist logged an assist, two hits and two PIM in Thursday's 6-1 loss to the Lightning.

Boqvist was scratched for six of the previous eight games. He got into action with thePanthers sitting Brad Marchand (undisclosed) and Evan Rodrigues (illness) in the second half of a back-to-back. Boqvist is now at eight points, 41 shots on net, 100 hits, 24 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a minus-7 rating over 51 appearances this season. If the Panthers are healthier up front after the Olympics, Boqvist is likely to find himself a healthy scratch frequently.

Bobrovsky stopped two of three shots he faced in Thursday's 6-1 loss to the Lightning.

Daniil Tarasov (lower body) exited the game in the third period, and Bobrovsky took over in net. The game was already out of hand by the time Bobrovsky entered, but he didn't have a good performance. He remains at 21-17-1 with a 3.13 GAA and an .871 save percentage over 40 appearances this season. If Tarasov's injury proves significant, Bobrovsky may be pressed into a larger role after the Olympic break.

Samoskevich scored thePanthers' only goal Thursday in a 6-1 loss to the Lightning.

It was his second goal in the last 25 games played. Samoskevich has six goals, 15 assists and 122 shots in 55 games this season. More was expected from him after he put up 15 goals and 31 games in 72 games last year, but this may simply be a prototypical sophomore slump, and Samoskevich's outburst will come next season.

Tarasov sustained an apparent lower-body injury in Thursday's 6-1 loss to the Lightning, Jameson Olive of thePanthers' official site reports.

Tarasov was hurt on the Lightning's fifth goal, and Sergei Bobrovsky came into the game to replace him. The severity of Tarasov's injury isn't yet known. He allowed five goals on 25 shots prior to the injury. He'll have three weeks to recover while the Panthers are off for the Olympic break.

Vilmanis (upper body) is set to play Thursday versus Tampa Bay, according to Jameson Olive of thePanthers' official site.

Vilmanis exited Wednesday's 5-4 shootout win over Boston, but it seems he won't miss a full game due to the injury. He has two goals, four points, four PIM and 27 hits in 13 appearances while averaging 10:07 of ice time this season. Vilmanis is projected to serve on the fourth line against the Lightning.

Ekblad has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Lightning for an undisclosed reason, Jameson Olive of thePanthers' official site reports.

While the reason for Ekblad's absence isn't yet known, he's one of several players who will miss the Panthers' final game before the Olympic break. The 29-year-old has recorded a goal, five assists, 24 hits, 24 blocked shots and 17 PIM while averaging 22:45 of ice time over 17 appearances since the start of the calendar year. Mikulas Hovorka will draw into the lineup to make his NHL debut Thursday, while head coach Paul Maurice indicated that he isn't concerned about Ekblad's status following the Olympic break.

Marchand (undisclosed) won't be in the lineup Thursday versus Tampa Bay, according to Jameson Olive of thePanthers' official site.

Marchand returned from an undisclosed injury for Wednesday's 5-4 shootout win over Boston, but he logged just 10:55 of ice time in that game. It's not clear if Marchand is dealing with a new injury or if this is an extension of the issue that previously forced him to miss time. Marchand's next chance to play for Florida will come Feb. 26 versus Toronto, but if he's healthy, Marchand is expected to play for Team Canada during the Olympics. Canada's first game of the tournament is set for Feb. 12 against Czechia.

Rodrigues will miss Thursday's game in Tampa Bay due to an illness, per Jameson Olive of thePanthers' official site.

Rodrigues has 10 goals and 25 points in 56 outings in 2025-26. Luke Kunin is set to draw into the lineup due to Rodrigues' absence. This is Panthers' final game before the Olympic break, so Rodrigues' next opportunity to play for Florida will come Feb. 26 versus Toronto.

Tarasov is set to start on the road against Tampa Bay on Thursday, per Jameson Olive of thePanthers' official site.

Tarasov is getting his first opportunity to play since he stopped 26 of 31 shots en route to a 5-4 loss to St. Louis on Jan. 29. He's 8-7-2 with a 2.67 GAA and a .904 save percentage in 18 outings in 2025-26. Tampa Bay has been one of the league's top teams dating back to Dec. 20, posting an 18-1-1 record while scoring an outstanding 4.10 goals per game over that stretch.

Luostarinen scored a goal, added six PIM and logged three hits in Wednesday's 5-4 shootout win over the Bruins.

Luostarinen opened the scoring 4:22 into the game. This was his second goal in the last three contests. The 27-year-old forward is up to seven goals, 24 points, 75 shots on net, 98 hits, 38 blocked shots, 22 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 48 appearances. He's matched his point total from 80 regular-season outings last year, and he's on pace to reach the 30-point mark for just the second time in his career.

Hovorka was recalled from AHL Charlotte on Thursday, per the NHL media site.

Hovorka could make his NHL debut Thursday in Tampa Bay, though it's more likely that he will be a healthy scratch as thePanthers' seventh blueliner. The defenseman had two goals and eight assists in 30 AHL appearances before being called up. The Panthers placed Tobias Bjornfot (undisclosed) on injured reserve in a corresponding move.
