Fabbro logged an assist and three blocked shots in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Penguins.

Fabbro started the year on the top pairing, but his slow start has seen him move down the lineup while Denton Mateychuk gets minutes alongside Zach Werenski. The 27-year-old Fabbro has just the one helper with six shots on net, 17 blocked shots, three hits and two PIM across eight appearances. He set a career high with 26 points in 2024-25, but a repeat effort doesn't seem to be in the cards.

Lundestrom logged an assist in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Penguins.

Lundestrom got on the scoresheet for the first time with theBlue Jackets. In addition to the helper, he has three shots on net, four hits, five blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over eight appearances in a fourth-line role. Lundestrom's defensive work is enough to keep him in the lineup, but he's unlikely to score enough to help fantasy managers.

Sillinger logged an assist, three shots on goal and two PIM in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Penguins.

Sillinger has had a slow start to 2025-26 with just two assists over eight games. He's played primarily on the third line, which may be a factor in his lackluster offense. The 22-year-old has added 13 shots on net, eight hits, eight PIM and a plus-1 rating. He's reached the 30-point mark in three of his first four campaigns, but he's yet to reach another level, though youth is still on his side.

Coyle scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Penguins.

Coyle has been steady in a middle-six role so far while seeing ice time in all situations. He's earned a point in three of his last four games as his offense starts to pick up. The veteran center has a goal, three assists, 12 shots on net, 14 hits and a minus-3 rating across eight appearances. That kind of production won't pop off the page, but it may be enough to help in deeper fantasy formats.

Chinakhov scored his first goal of the season in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Penguins.

The 24-year-old winger had a tumultuous offseason that included a trade request, and after being a healthy scratch for the first three games of the season, Chinakhov has mainly been stuck on the fourth line over the last five contests while averaging just 9:06 in ice time. He flashed his skill Saturday, however, ripping a quick shot past Arturs Silovs early in the third period to give theBlue Jackets a 3-2 lead. It might take an injury ahead of him on the depth chart to move Chinakhov into a top-six role, but he has the upside to thrive if given a chance.

Voronkov scored two goals in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Penguins.

The burly forward beat Arturs Silovs late in the second period and again early in the third, with both goals coming in Voronkov's office just outside the opposition crease. The 25-year-old has had an impressive start to the campaign, racking up five goals and nine points in eight games with 19 hits, 17 shots on net, 10 PIM and a plus-8 rating while being a fixture on Columbus' top line and top power-play unit.

Merzlikins made 26 saves in regulation and overtime and denied one of three shootout attempts in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Penguins.

The 31-year-old netminder came up with some big stops but also got extremely lucky, as on three different occasions a puck came within a whisker of crossing the goal line behind Merzlikins before being knocked aside. The timeshare between Jet Greaves and Merzlikins is working out well for both goalies so far, and through four starts Elvis has a 3-1-0 record, 2.96 GAA and .914 save percentage.

Merzlikins is set to start on the road against Pittsburgh on Saturday, according to Jeff Svoboda of theBlue Jackets' official site.

Merzlikins has a 2-1-0 record, 2.68 GAA and .927 save percentage in three appearances this season. He went 2-1-0 with a 3.28 GAA and an .873 save percentage in three regular-season outings versus Pittsburgh last year. Pittsburgh has looked good so far this season, posting a 6-2-0 record while averaging 3.50 goals per game.

Mateychuk scored a goal and added two hits in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Capitals.

Mateychuk has scored in back-to-back games. He appears to be growing more comfortable in a top-four role, which bodes well for his continued contributions on offense. The blueliner has three points, nine shots on net, five hits, eight blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over seven appearances to begin the season. Mateychuk has plenty of upside, so the 21-year-old should be on the radar in fantasy, especially if he eventually lands on a power-play unit.

Greaves allowed five goals on 30 shots in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Capitals.

This was Greaves' first really bad game of the season, though he ended up with his third loss in four starts. The 24-year-old allowed just one goal through two periods before the Capitals broke things open in the third. Greaves has alternated starts with Elvis Merzlikins early in the campaign, and that workload may continue throughout the year. Expect Merzlikins to start Saturday in Pittsburgh before Greaves presumably leads off another back-to-back set with a road start in Buffalo on Tuesday.

Gudbranson (lower body) will return to the lineup Friday versus Washington, Jeff Svoboda of theBlue Jackets' official site reports.

Gudbranson missed four games due to the injury. He is without a point in two games this season. Look for Jake Christiansen to come out of the lineup with the return of Gudbranson.

Greaves will start Friday's home game against the Capitals, Jeff Svoboda of theBlue Jackets' official site reports.

The early-season timeshare between Greaves and Elvis Merzlikins will continue in the first half of a back-to-back set Friday. Over Greaves' first three starts of the year, he's gone 1-2-0 with a 2.03 GAA and a .928 save percentage. It wouldn't be surprising to see Merzlikins take over in net for Saturday's road matchup against Pittsburgh.

Mayo was reassigned to AHL Cleveland on Wednesday.

Mayo was summoned to Columbus on Sunday, but he didn't end up playing for theBlue Jackets before being returned to the minors. He has two assists in four appearances with Cleveland in 2025-26.

Chinakhov logged an assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Stars.

Chinakhov has played in three straight games after being a healthy scratch for theBlue Jackets' first three contests. The 24-year-old is still being limited to the fourth line, and he saw a team-low 10:16 of ice time Tuesday despite earning his first point of the year when he set up Denton Mateychuk's third-period tally. Chinakhov has added two hits, two blocked shots and three shots on net. His usage won't move the needle in fantasy, and he likely needs a change of scenery since it appears he has gotten lost in the shuffle in Columbus.

Monahan recorded a power-play assist and two hits in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Stars.

Monahan's had no luck on offense so far this season, with his helper on a Dmitri Voronkov goal being his first point. The 31-year-old Monahan has added 13 shots on net, six hits and a plus-5 rating through six contests. Both of his linemates, Voronkov and Kirill Marchenko, have had success, so it's only a matter of time before Monahan gets on track, as long as he remains on the top line and first power-play unit.

Voronkov continues to have a strong start to the season, but this was his first power-play point of the year. The 25-year-old has collected three goals, three helpers, 11 shots on net, 14 hits and a plus-5 rating over six appearances. He's in a top-line role at even strength, though theBlue Jackets have balanced ice time pretty well so far. In any case, Voronkov is doing enough scoring to earn a look in fantasy, especially with the ideal usage he's receiving.
