Igbinoghene recorded 35 total tackles (22 solo), including 1.0 sacks, while also adding five passes defensed and 191 kickoff-return yards over 15 contests during the 2025 regular season.

Igbinoghene was able to register at least 35 takedowns for the second straight year after compiling 29 total tackles over his first four seasons in the NFL. The 26-year-old was also able to notch his first career sack in 2025, bringing down Eagles quarterback Tanner McKee in the regular-season finale. Igbinoghene is set to become a free agent in the offseason, and his increased production over the last two seasons has certainly raised his value on the open market.

Newton recorded 38 total tackles (21 solo), including 5.0 sacks, while also adding a pass defensed and a forced fumble over 17 contests during the 2025 regular season.

Newton was able to play in all 17 of the team's regular-season contests, securing at least 38 takedowns for the second straight year. The defensive lineman secured a new career-high 5.0 sacks, most of which came in Week 17 against the Cowboys, registering nine total tackles, including 3.0 sacks, in the team's 30-23 loss to Dallas. Newton will likely enter the 2026 campaign as a top reserve option behind Daron Payne and Javon Kinlaw at defensive tackle.

Harris recorded 38 total tackles (22 solo), including 1.0 sacks, while also adding three passes defensed and a forced fumble over nine games during the 2025 regular season.

Harris joined theCommanders as a free agent ahead of the 2025 campaign, inking a two-year, $8 million contract. The safety suffered a fractured fibula in Week 3 against the Raiders, ultimately missing eight games as a result. Harris was still able to register at least 38 takedowns for the fifth time in his seven-year career, while his sack of J.J. McCarthy in Week 14 was his first full sack since 2019. The 30-year-old appears to be on track to operate as one of the team's starting safeties again in 2026.

Jones recorded 41 total tackles (30 solo), including 1.0 sacks, while also adding five passes defensed over 12 games during the 2025 regular season.

Jones signed with theCommanders in the offseason after spending the first nine seasons of his career in New England. The cornerback missed four contests in late September and early October with a hamstring injury, but once healthy, he put together a rather productive campaign. Jones was able to secure at least 41 tackles for the fourth straight year and eighth time overall, while his sack of Tua Tagovailoa in Week 11 was his first sack since 2018. The 32-year-old is set to enter the offseason as a free agent, but considering his long track record of strong production, he'll likely have plenty of interested suitors ahead of the 2026 season.

Kinlaw recorded 43 total tackles (24 solo) and a forced fumble over 17 contests during the 2025 regular season.

Kinlaw joined theCommanders ahead of the 2025 campaign, inking a three-year, $45 million contract with the team. The defensive tackle was able to secure a career-high 43 takedowns on the season, finishing behind only Daron Payne (46) on Washington's defensive line. Kinlaw has now played in all 17 of his team's regular-season contests in each of the last three campaigns, and he'll look to continue his productive run in 2026.

Payne recorded 46 total tackles (20 solo), including 3.0 sacks, while also adding five passes defensed and a forced fumble over 15 games during the 2025 regular season.

Payne maintained his consistent level of production in his eighth campaign in Washington, securing at least 3.0 sacks for the sixth straight year and seventh time overall. The defensive lineman had appeared in every regular-season contest with the team in each of the last five years, but he was forced to miss two games in 2025, one due to a suspension and the other as a result of a back injury. Payne will enter the 2026 campaign in the final year of his four-year, $90 million contract with theCommanders.

Magee recorded 54 total tackles (31 solo) and a pass defensed over 17 games during the 2025 regular season.

Magee was limited to 24 total defensive snaps over the team's first six contests of the year, but he then saw an expanded role as a rotational linebacker, playing no fewer than 14 snaps on defense in the team's remaining 11 regular-season games. As a result, the 24-year-old was able to finish sixth on Washington's defense in total takedowns, far exceeding the nine total tackles he compiled in his rookie campaign in 2024. With starting outside linebacker Von Miller entering the offseason as a free agent, Magee could have a chance to step into a starting role next year.

NewCommanders offensive coordinator David Blough wantsMcLaurin to get "10 targets a game," according to UWSA9's John Doran.

"This thing's going to be built around how do we get [McLaurin] 10 targets a game," said Blough. "And get [McLaurin] explosive receptions after explosive receptions to kind of flip the field." It sounds promising from a fantasy standpoint, but McLaurin has reached eight targets per game just once in his seven NFL seasons (8.9 in 2020). He finished 2025 with career lows for games played (10), targets per game (6.0) and yards per game (58.2), among other statistics, though he also averaged 9.7 YPT and had a career-high 61.7 percent success rate on targets. There's a strong enough bounce-back argument for 2026, even if the volume mentioned by Blough is unrealistic.

Yankoff caught two of three targets for 18 yards across 14 regular-season games in 2025.

The UCLA product logged just 107 total snaps (101 on special teams, six on offense) across six regular-season games during his rookie campaign in 2024. However, he played a much larger role in his second season, logging 246 special-teams snaps and 107 offensive snaps. Despite the increased playing time, Yankoff was targeted just three times and operated in a depth role within Washington's tight end room. Under contract through 2026, the 25-year-old is expected to compete for a larger offensive role this offseason.

TheCommanders signedWay to a one-year extension Tuesday, Ben Standig of Big 100 Washington D.C. reports.

Way will remain in Washington for the 2026 campaign, where he has spent the entirety of his 12-year career. The 35-year-old punted 56 times for 2,651 yards in 2025 and had 29 punts downed inside the 20-yard line.
