Smith's catch kick-started theJets' game-winning drive in the fourth quarter. The rookie fourth-round pick seems unlikely to be used as anything more than an occasional deep target after the Jets' Week 9 bye considering he had just one target Sunday despite the absences of Garrett Wilson (knee) and Josh Reynolds (hip).

Ruckert caught his only target for 24 yards in Sunday's 39-38 win over the Bengals.

Ruckert maintained a secondary role as Mason Taylor (quadriceps) suited up after being listed as questionable. Taylor led the team with eight targets and caught the game-winning touchdown. Ruckert's likely to remain in a backup role after theJets' Week 9 bye.

Williams caught three of four targets for 31 yards and rushed once for 25 yards in Sunday's 39-38 win over the Bengals. He also tallied five kickoff returns for 132 yards and returned three punts for 38 yards.

Williams played his usual role as a return man on special teams but also got a chance to contribute meaningfully on offense with theJets missing wide receivers Garrett Wilson (knee) and Josh Reynolds (hip). Williams made the most of his opportunity, but his role on offense is unlikely to expand after the team's Week 9 bye.

Folk connected on all three of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries during theJets' 39-38 win over the Bengals on Sunday.

Folk put the Jets on the board early in the second quarter with a 46-yard field goal before connecting on two more chips shots from 25 and 24 yards. The 15-year veteran has yet to miss a kick through eight regular-season games, having gone 17-for-17 on field-goal tries and 9-for-9 on extra-point attempts in 2025.

Johnson caught three of five targets for 64 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 39-38 win over the Bengals.

Johnson stepped up in the absences of Garrett Wilson (knee) and Josh Reynolds (IR, hip). The highlight of Johnson's performance was a 15-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter. This was the second straight game in which Johnson reached the 60-yard threshold and led theJets in receiving yards. The Jets may get Wilson back in Week 10 against the Browns following a Week 9 bye, but with Reynolds required to miss at least three more games, Johnson could maintain a solid complementary role.

Taylor (quadriceps) caught five of eight targets for 34 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 39-38 win over the Bengals.

Taylor played through a quadriceps injury and led theJets in targets. The first touchdown catch of his NFL career was a dramatic one, as running back Breece Hall found Taylor in the back of the end zone on a trick play for the game-winning score from four yards out just after the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter. The Jets could get some reinforcements at wide receiver if Garrett Wilson (knee) or Josh Reynolds (hip) can return after the team's Week 9 bye, but Taylor should remain involved as a pass catcher in the second half of his rookie campaign.

Davis rushed seven times for 65 yards and caught all five of his targets for 44 yards in Sunday's 39-38 win over the Bengals. He also caught a two-point conversion.

Davis hadn't previously recorded more than 67 scrimmage yards in a regular-season game but stepped up Sunday in a larger change-of-pace role behind Breece Hall, who had been bothered by a knee injury leading up to the game. The 2024 fifth-round pick broke off a career-long 50-yard run in the third quarter, accounting for most of Davis' production on the ground. Hall was fresh enough to take over in the fourth quarter with three total touchdowns, one of which Davis followed up by catching a two-point conversion. Davis' pass-catching skills give him some deep-league value, but he'll likely continue to fill a change-of-pace role after theJets' Week 9 bye as long as Hall's healthy.

Fields completed 21 of 32 passes for 244 yards and a touchdown while rushing 11 times for 31 yards in Sunday's 39-38 win over the Bengals. He also ran in a two-point conversion and threw a successful two-point conversion.

After speculation that theJets could turn to Tyrod Taylor under center due to Fields' recent struggles, Fields got the start by default once Taylor (knee) was ruled out before the game. Fields threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Johnson in the second quarter to keep the game close enough for Breece Hall to take over in the fourth. Hall ran in two touchdowns, then the running back threw the game-winning touchdown pass on a trick play just after the two-minute warning. After leading the Jets to their first win of the season, Fields is probably the favorite to start in Week 10 against the Browns following a Week 9 bye, though it will be worth monitoring how the Jets distribute practice reps between Fields and Taylor.
