Pistons' Ausar Thompson: Contributes across the board
RotowireThompson closed with four points (2-3 FG), four rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 24 minutes during Wednesday's 113-95 victory over the Raptors.
While Wednesday's effort was relatively muted, Thompson has bounced back nicely overall from a shaky start to the season. The versatile forward has averaged 8.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.7 steals in 25.1 minutes per contest in his last 12 games, shooting 52.4 percent from the floor. That said, Thompson's subpar foul shooting and lack of outside scoring could continue to limit his minutes to the 20s.
... See More... See LessPistons' Tolu Smith: Cracks rotation Wednesday
RotowireSmith recorded up three points (1-3 FG, 1-3 FT), three rebounds and two assists in 15 minutes during Wednesday's 113-95 win over the Raptors.
With Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart both suspended, Smith entered the rotation as the backup to center Paul Reed, who entered the starting five in Duren's stead. The appearance was just Smith's sixth of the season with Detroit and his first at any level since Jan. 26, when he sustained a calf injury while playing for the G League's Motor City Cruise. Now healthy again, Smith should be part of the rotation for thePistons' next game Feb. 19 versus the Knicks before Duren returns from his two-game ban Feb. 21 at Chicago.
... See More... See LessPistons' Tobias Harris: Picks up first double-double
RotowireHarris posted 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds and one block over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 113-95 win over the Raptors.
The double-double was the first of the season for the veteran forward. Harris took on extra duties on the glass with both Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart suspended after Monday's brawl with Charlotte, and while Stewart's absence will extend into March, Duren is set to miss only one more game. Harris remains a consistent secondary source of offense regardless of his other contributions, producing double-digit points in nine straight appearances while averaging 14.0 points, 6.0 boards, 2.0 assists, 1.7 threes and 1.0 steals in 29.4 minutes.
... See More... See LessPistons' Paul Reed: Hits for 22 in Wednesday's start
RotowireReed produced 22 points (10-17 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists, four blocks and three steals across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 113-95 win over the Raptors.
With Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart both suspended in the wake of Monday's brawl with the Hornets, Reed made his first start since Jan. 10. He delivered a dominant defensive performance while producing his best scoring effort since Nov. 12, when he erupted for a season-high 28 against the Bulls. Duren is set to miss only one more game, but Stewart has been shelved until March 3, so Reed should see elevated usage into next month. The 26-year-old center has scored in double digits in three straight games, averaging 15.3 points, 4.7 boards, 2.7 assists, 2.0 steals, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 threes.
... See More... See LessPistons' Cade Cunningham: Scores 28 points efficiently
RotowireCunningham generated 28 points (9-14 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds, nine assists, three steals and one block across 30 minutes of Wednesday's 113-95 win over Toronto.
Cunningham hit the 25-point threshold for the 28th time this season, and it took him just 14 shots to get there. He had attempted 15 or more field goals in each of the other 27 occurrences. Cunningham also tied his season high in three-pointers made. In his last 10 appearances, Cunningham is averaging 25.5 points, 9.3 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals.
... See More... See LessPistons' Paul Reed: Starting Wednesday
RotowireReed is part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Toronto, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart are suspended for this one, leaving starting center duties for Reed. In six starts this season, Reed is averaging 11.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.2 blocks across 26.7 minutes.

CBS Sports Brad BotkinPistons' Tolu Smith: Available Wednesday
RotowireSmith (calf) isn't listed on thePistons' injury report for Wednesday's game against the Raptors.
The two-way center has made just five appearances for Detroit all season and hadn't seen action in the G League with the Motor City Cruise since Jan. 26 while he managed a calf issue, but he joined the Pistons for morning shootaround Wednesday and should be available to play in the club's final game before the All-Star break, per Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press. With Jalen Duren (two games) and Isaiah Stewart (seven games) receiving suspensions for their roles in a brawl that occurred in Monday's win over the Hornets, Paul Reed will likely step into a high-minute role as the Pistons' starting center, but Smith could be part of the rotation as Reed's backup until Duren is back in the fold.

CBS Sports Jordan DajaniPistons' Jalen Duren: Suspended for two games
RotowireDuren has been suspended for two games for his participation in an altercation during Monday's matchup with Charlotte, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Duren and teammate Isaiah Stewart were the twoPistons suspended following the scuffle that involved Miles Bridges and Moussa Diabate. However, Duren's suspension was the shortest out of the four. With Duren out for two games and Stewart sidelined for seven, Paul Reed could take the reins at center while the two are unavailable, with Isaac Jones and Tolu Smith potentially seeing playing time.
... See More... See LessPistons' Isaiah Stewart: Suspended seven games
RotowireStewart will be suspended for seven games for his involvement in an altercation with Charlotte's Miles Bridges and Moussa Diabate on Monday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
ThePistons were anticipating a lengthy suspension and got one for their backup center after he left the bench to aggressively charge Bridges and Diabate. Jalen Duren will be suspended for a pair of games, making Paul Reed a decent pickup in fantasy hoops for the short term. Stewart will be eligible to return against the Cavaliers on March 3.
... See More... See LessPistons' Chaz Lanier: Recalled to NBA
RotowireDetroit recalledLanier from the G League's Motor City Cruise on Tuesday.
Lanier last played Feb. 6 and logged seven points in six minutes during garbage time, but he has not seen significant playing time in 2026. He will likely continue to split time between the two clubs for the remainder of the season.
... See More... See LessPistons' Bobi Klintman: Recalled to NBA
RotowireDetroit recalledKlintman from the G League's Motor City Cruise on Tuesday.
Klintman has not appeared in an NBA game since Jan. 29 and has played seven total minutes in 2026. However, he will continue to split time between Detroit and the team's G League affiliate for the remainder of the season.
... See More... See LessPistons' Ronald Holland: Out again Wednesday
RotowireHolland (personal) is out for Wednesday's game against the Raptors.
Holland will miss a second straight game for personal reasons. His absence could mean more opportunities for Isaiah Stewart or Javonte Green, though Stewart could be facing a suspension after taking part in a fight Monday against Charlotte. Wednesday's game is thePistons' last before the All-Star break, making Holland's next chance to play Feb. 19 against the Knicks.

CBS Sports Jordan DajaniPistons' Paul Reed: Solid in 18 minutes
RotowireReed had 12 points (3-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-8 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over 18 minutes during Monday's 110-104 victory over the Hornets.
With Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart likely facing suspensions for their altercation with Miles Bridges on Monday, Reed suddenly becomes an intriguing streaming option in fantasy hoops. As a strong per-minute producer in rebounds, steals and blocks, Reed could have a nice window to provide a boost to fantasy managers.
... See More... See LessPistons' Isaac Jones: Signed by Detroit
RotowireJones signed a two-year, two-way contract with thePistons on Tuesday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Jones was previously waived by Detroit on Feb. 4 as part of a roster crunch at the trade deadline, but the franchise moved quickly to scoop him back up. Jones will likely play a key role in the G League for the remainder of the season.
... See More... See LessPistons' Duncan Robinson: Contributes 18 points in win
RotowireRobinson provided 18 points (8-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four assists and three rebounds across 24 minutes during Monday's 110-104 win over Charlotte.
Robinson stepped up as a scorer Monday, trailing only Cade Cunningham for Detroit in a winning effort. Known primarily as a dangerous perimeter threat, Robinson did most of his damage inside the arc, hitting just one three-pointer and snapping a five-game streak of knocking down multiple triples.
