Mavericks' Khris Middleton: Sees 21 minutes in loss
RotowireMiddleton contributed eight points (3-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound and one assist across 21 minutes during Thursday's 124-104 loss to the Lakers.
Since joining Dallas, Middleton has seen a very modest role on the wings. Through two appearances, he's averaging 21.5 minutes with 10.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists. It's hard to imagine his minutes trending up much after the All-Star break.

RotowireWilliams produced 17 points (6-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Thursday's 124-104 loss to the Lakers.
Getting his first start since Jan. 17 with Cooper Flagg (foot) in street clothes, Williams posted his highest assist total since Dec. 5 while scoring in double digits for the seventh time in the last eight games. Over that span, the fourth-year guard is averaging 15.5 points, 3.8 assists, 3.1 boards and 0.8 threes in 21.9 minutes.

RotowireChristie finished Thursday's 124-104 loss to the Lakers with 19 points (7-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), one rebound, four assists and one steal in 30 minutes.
The 19 points tied Naji Marshall (foot) for the team scoring lead. Christie heads into the All-Star break having scored in double digits in 10 of the last 12 games while averaging 16.4 points, 3.2 boards, 2.8 assists, 2.8 threes and 0.8 steals, but it remains to be seen what his role and usage will be once Kyrie Irving (knee) gets cleared to make his season debut.

RotowireGafford won't return to Thursday's game against the Lakers due to right ankle soreness. He tallied two points (1-2 FG), six rebounds, one assist and one block in 28 minutes.
Gafford was ruled out late in the fourth quarter with the game already decided, so his absence shouldn't have much of an impact on his team's rotation. The 27-year-old will have over a week to rest going into the All-Star break, with his next chance to take the court arriving Feb. 20 in Minnesota.

RotowireMarshall has been ruled out for the rest of Thursday's game against the Lakers due to a left foot strain. He collected 19 points (8-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-5 FT), two rebounds, four assists and two steals in 29 minutes.
Marshall was dealing with a left foot issue heading into Thursday's game, so it appears he may have aggravated the injury. Fortunately, the Mavs don't play again until Feb. 20, leaving him ample time to rest up.

RotowireMartin has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Lakers.

CBS Sports Ross KellyMavericks' Caleb Martin: Downgraded to doubtful
RotowireMartin is doubtful for Thursday's game against the Lakers due to a left ankle sprain.
Martin had been in position for an amplified role in the absence of Cooper Flagg (foot), but now the former is unlikely to play Thursday. With theMavericks shorthanded ahead of the All-Star break, Klay Thompson and Khris Middleton both should be able to work their way into the streaming mix.
