Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Scores 10 in Rising Stars loss
RotowireTyson supplied 10 points (3-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and two assists across 11 minutes in Team T-Mac's 41-36 Rising Stars loss to Team Vince on Friday.
The second-year forward led his squad with an efficient 10 points, though Team T-Mac was unable to make the championship game as VJ Edgecombe dropped 17 points for Team Vince. After playing a limited role in his rookie campaign, Tyson has had a breakout season for Cleveland thus far, averaging 13.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.9 steals in 27.8 minutes per tilt across 50 regular-season outings (35 starts) in 2025-26.

RotowireMinix agreed to a two-way contract with theCavaliers on Friday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Minix began the 2025-26 campaign on a two-way deal with the Spurs but was ultimately waived in December. However, he'll latch on with the Cavaliers after spending time with their G League affiliate, the Cleveland Charge. The 25-year-old forward will likely continue to spend most of his time with the Charge, but he'll provide emergency depth for the parent club. Over 23 G League outings between the Charge and the Austin Spurs this season, Minix has averaged 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 32.3 minutes per tilt.
... See More... See LessCavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Stays hot in win
RotowireAllen posted 21 points (8-8 FG, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and two blocks over 27 minutes during Wednesday's 138-113 victory over the Wizards.
Allen continues to thrive in the absence of Evan Mobley (calf). Over his last 10 games, he's been a second-round value in nine-category formats with 18.3 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.1 blocks in 28.6 minutes per contest.
... See More... See LessCavaliers' Evan Mobley: Should return after All-Star break
RotowireCavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson said Wednesday thatMobley (calf) should return to action "right after the All-Star break," Danny Cunningham of Sports Radio 92.3 The Fan Cleveland reports.
Mobley has missed the Cavaliers' last seven games after he strained his left calf in the team's Jan. 26 win over the Magic. The fifth-year big man -- who previously missed five games in December after suffering a Grade 1 strain of the same calf -- is seemingly making good progress in his recovery following his latest setback. If he's able to resume practicing following the break, he could be ready to play in the Cavaliers' first game of the second half Feb. 19 versus the Nets. Mobley's impending return could result in Thomas Bryant falling out of the rotation along with Jarrett Allen, Jaylon Tyson and Keon Ellis seeing at least slight reductions in playing time.

CBS Sports Bryan DeArdoCavaliers' Keon Ellis: Logs 27 minutes in win
RotowireEllis chipped in six points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 27 minutes during Wednesday's 138-113 win over Washington.
Ellis logged 27 minutes Wednesday, the most he has played since joining theCavaliers. While he has provided the team with consistent defensive contributions off the bench, his playing time has been largely underwhelming. With that said, he is worth keeping an eye on, particularly if he can carve out a regular 25-minute role for himself, given his defensive upside.
... See More... See LessCavaliers' Dennis Schroder: Limited off bench again
RotowireSchroder produced seven points (1-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one block over 18 minutes during Wednesday's 138-113 victory over the Wizards.
Schroder continues to serve as a backup option, playing fewer than 20 minutes for the third time in the past four games since arriving in Cleveland. Even in starter-level minutes, Schroder has never really been a consistent fantasy asset. Given his current role, he is far from a must-roster player, outside of deeper formats.
... See More... See LessCavaliers' Larry Nance: Muted role continues
RotowireNance closed with three points (1-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist over five minutes during Wednesday's 138-113 victory over the Wizards.
Nance moved back into the rotation, suiting up for the first time in the past three games. Nance has been a non-factor this season, averaging just 3.6 points and 2.6 rebounds in 12.9 minutes per game in 25 appearances. Given that he is not an every-night part of the rotation, managers need not consider him a viable fantasy asset.
... See More... See LessCavaliers' Sam Merrill: Catches fire against WAS
RotowireMerrill generated 32 points (11-12 FG, 9-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block across 25 minutes of Wednesday's 138-113 win over the Wizards.
Merrill set a career high in points and surpassed his previous season high by 10 points. He tied his career high in three-point makes as well. Merrill isn't a high-usage player, but he has the ability to drain three-pointers on any given night. Through 31 appearances this season, Merrill is averaging 13.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 25.4 minutes.

CBS Sports Brad BotkinCavaliers' Dean Wade: Won't go Wednesday
RotowireWade (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Washington.
Wade will miss a third straight outing due to a left ankle sprain, and his next chance to play will come against Brooklyn on Feb. 19. With Evan Mobley (calf) and Wade both sidelined, Jaylon Tyson, Sam Merrill and Nae'Qwan Tomlin are candidates for increased playing time.
... See More... See LessCavaliers' Evan Mobley: Won't play Wednesday
RotowireMobley (calf) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Wizards.
Mobley will miss his seventh consecutive contest due to a left calf strain, and his next opportunity to return to action will come against Brooklyn on Feb. 19. With Dean Wade (ankle) also sidelined, Jaylon Tyson, Nae'Qwan Tomlin and Sam Merrill are candidates to see an uptick in minutes.

CBS Sports Sam QuinnCavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Logs 22/13 double-double
RotowireAllen ended with 22 points (10-16 FG, 2-4 FT), 13 rebounds and one assist over 35 minutes during Monday's 119-117 victory over the Nuggets.
Allen faced down Nikola Jokic and put together a solid number, although the former MVP was able to hang a triple-double in a losing effort. Evan Mobley (calf) could return before the All-Star break, but his minutes would likely be restricted. In either case, Allen will be set up for success during the upcoming matchup against the Wizards on Wednesday.
... See More... See LessCavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Stellar double-double in victory
RotowireMitchell racked up 32 points (11-23 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 7-8 FT), one rebound, 10 assists, two blocks and two steals across 34 minutes during Monday's 119-117 victory over the Nuggets.
The new duo of Mitchell and James Harden powered theCavaliers to another dramatic win, rallying back from an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter. The only knock on Mitchell's game currently is a poor streak of performances beyond the arc, but his work inside the perimeter has more than made up for that inconsistency. The veteran has averaged 32.0 points per game over the last three contests.
... See More... See LessCavaliers' James Harden: Sparks late rally
RotowireHarden chipped in 22 points (7-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 10 rebounds, seven assists and three blocks across 36 minutes during Monday's 119-117 victory over Denver.
Harden was a key element in a late rally that erased Denver's 11-point lead in the fourth quarter. The veteran posted another excellent number in his second game with theCavaliers, and he managed his second-highest rebound total of the season to acquire his 13th double-double of the 2025-26 campaign.
... See More... See LessCavaliers' Tyrese Proctor: Available Monday
RotowireProctor (illness) is available for Monday's game against the Nuggets.
Proctor was a late addition to the injury report due to an illness but will suit up Monday. Despite being available, the Duke product isn't a staple of theCavaliers' rotation and isn't guaranteed significant playing time against the Nuggets.
... See More... See LessCavaliers' Dean Wade: Unavailable Monday
RotowireWade (ankle) is out for Monday's game against the Nuggets, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Wade carried a questionable tag leading up to tipoff, and the team has since downgraded him to out. He'll miss his second straight game due to a left ankle sprain. Wade's next chance to run the floor will arrive Wednesday against the Wizards.
