Nets' Egor Demin: Racking up triples
RotowireDemin chipped in 13 points (3-8 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 115-110 loss to the Pacers.
Now that Cam Thomas is out of the mix altogether, theNets could be even more inclined to give Demin an extended look during the final third of the season. It's been a rocky ride so far for the rookie first-rounder, who has shown plenty of upside as a shooter with averages of 13.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.0 three-pointers in 27.6 minutes per contest in his last eight games.
... See More... See LessNets' Ben Saraf: Bounces back in defeat
RotowireSaraf supplied 12 points (4-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four rebounds and two assists over 17 minutes during Wednesday's 115-110 loss to the Pacers.
After scoring three points on 1-of-6 shooting from the field in Monday's win over Chicago, Saraf bounced back on the offensive end Wednesday. The rookie first-rounder was one of six Brooklyn players to score in double figures, marking just the second time over his last 10 outings that he has reached double digits. Saraf has spent a considerable amount of time with the G League's Long IslandNets this season but has appeared in each of Brooklyn's last 10 games. With the club near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, he may continue to see increased playing time as Brooklyn prioritizes its youth movement.
... See More... See LessNets' Nolan Traore: Paces Brooklyn in loss
RotowireTraore totaled 20 points (8-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), eight assists, two rebounds and one steal across 32 minutes in Wednesday's 115-110 loss to Indiana.
After recording his first career double-double in Monday's win over Chicago, Traore led Brooklyn in scoring Wednesday. The rookie first-rounder finished one point shy of tying his career high and has reached the 20-point mark three times this season. His eight assists against Indiana were also a game-best mark. The 19-year-old point guard has scored in double figures in four straight games and has started each of Brooklyn's last eight. With theNets near the bottom of the standings in the Eastern Conference, he'll likely continue to see significant burn moving forward.
... See More... See LessNets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Double-doubles in spot start
RotowireSharpe supplied 19 points (8-11 FG, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals across 31 minutes in Wednesday's 115-110 loss to the Pacers.
Sharpe got the starting nod for the fourth time this season due to Nic Claxton (hip) being sidelined, and the former made the most of the opportunity. Sharpe racked up 19 points on extremely efficient shooting, matching his season high. The big man was also active on the glass en route to his fourth double-double on the campaign. Sharpe has scored 19 points in three of his last five outings, averaging 13.4 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.6 steals in 21.2 minutes per game during that span.
... See More... See LessNets' Danny Wolf: Headed to bench
RotowireWolf will come off the bench for Wednesday's game versus the Pacers, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.
While Wolf won't start, it's worth noting that Michael Porter (knee), Noah Clowney (ankle) and Nic Claxton (hip) are out, so Wolf still has the potential to play meaningful minutes while working in a reserve role Wednesday evening. Wolf has logged at least 20 minutes in each of his previous three outings and has recorded double-digit points in all of them.
... See More... See LessNets' Ziaire Williams: Starting Wednesday
RotowireWilliams is part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Indiana, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.
Williams will make his fifth start of the season and his first since Jan. 7. He'll be joined by Nolan Traore, Egor Demin, Terance Mann and Day'Ron Sharpe in the first unit for the shorthandedNets.
... See More... See LessNets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Starting sans Claxton
RotowireSharpe will start Wednesday's game against the Pacers, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.
With Nic Claxton (hip) out, Sharpe will get the starting nod in Brooklyn's final game before the All-Star break. As a starter this season (three games), the big man has averaged 12.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.3 combined steals-plus-blocks across 30.7 minutes per game.
... See More... See LessNets' Noah Clowney: Ruled out Wednesday
RotowireClowney (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.
Clowney was previously upgraded to available for Wednesday's contest but was unable to get through pregame warmups. The 21-year-old forward's next opportunity to play will come against Cleveland on Feb. 19. Danny Wolf, Jalen Wilson and Ziaire Williams are candidates for increased playing time due to Clowney being sidelined.
... See More... See LessNets' Nic Claxton: Won't suit up Wednesday
RotowireClaxton (hip) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.
Claxton is dealing with right hip soreness and will miss just his third game of the season. The big man will have the All-Star break to recover, as his next opportunity to play will come Feb. 19 against the Cavaliers. With Claxton unavailable, Day'Ron Sharpe will likely get the starting nod, while Danny Wolf could see increased playing time.
... See More... See LessNets' Noah Clowney: Good to go Wednesday
RotowireClowney (ankle) is available for Wednesday's game against Indiana, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.
Clowney was previously considered probable due to a sprained left ankle, so his availability doesn't come as much of a surprise. With Michael Porter (knee) and Nic Claxton (hip) sidelined Wednesday, Clowney could take on a larger role offensively.
... See More... See LessNets' Nic Claxton: Downgraded to doubtful
RotowireClaxton (hip) has been downgraded to doubtful for Wednesday's matchup with Indiana.
Claxton has missed only two games all season but is in severe danger of missing a third, as his updated status indicates he will likely be sidelined against the Pacers. If Claxton officially can't go, Day'Ron Sharpe would be the biggest beneficiary, and Danny Wolf would also likely see some increased run as well.
... See More... See LessNets' Nic Claxton: Questionable for Wednesday
RotowireClaxton is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pacers with right hip soreness, Sharif Phillips-Keaton of USA Today reports.
This is a new injury for Claxton, and theNets may opt to rest him against the struggling Pacers as a precaution. If he sits, Day'Ron Sharpe would likely get the start at center for Brooklyn.
... See More... See LessNets' Noah Clowney: Tabbed probable
RotowireClowney is listed as probable for Wednesday's game against Indiana due to a left ankle sprain, Meghan Triplett of YES Network reports.
Clowney is likely to play through a sprained left ankle for Wednesday's contest. The power forward is coming off back-to-back quality games, having posted 18 and 22 points, respectively.
... See More... See LessNets' Egor Demin: Will play Wednesday
RotowireDemin (rest) will play Wednesday night against the Pacers, Meghan Triplett of YES Network reports.
Demin will return to the lineup after getting a maintenance day Monday against the Bulls. TheNets have another back-to-back set beginning Feb. 19, and based off previous instances, it's likely that another maintenance day is on the table.
... See More... See LessNets' Michael Porter: Out again Wednesday
RotowirePorter (knee) will not play Wednesday against the Pacers, Meghan Triplett of YES Network reports.
Porter will be sidelined for a second straight game as theNets continue to exercise caution. Porter's next chance to return comes Feb. 19 in Oklahoma City, Brooklyn's first game after the All-Star break. Drake Powell, Danny Wolf and Ziaire Williams are all candidates for increased roles in Porter's absence.
... See More... See LessNets' Drake Powell: Notches 14 points
RotowirePowell ended Monday's 123-115 win over the Bulls with 14 points (4-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and five rebounds over 23 minutes.
This was one of Powell's best performances of the season, as he was able to take advantage of some maintenance days for Michael Porter and Egor Demin. While not a fantasy pickup yet, Powell may be worth keeping an eye on in deeper formats, with player development expected to be a focus for Brooklyn down the stretch.

CBS Sports John GonzalezNets' Jalen Wilson: Back in rotation Monday
RotowireWilson accumulated four points (1-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and two steals over 20 minutes during Monday's 123-115 win over the Bulls.
Wilson was back in the rotation, suiting up for the first time in the past four games. Brooklyn continues to shuffle its rotation, both in terms of availability and playing time. Although Wilson has flashed small amounts of upside throughout his young career, there is no reason to be rostering him outside of deeper formats at this point.
