Brewers' Logan Henderson: Clean bill of health
RotowireTheBrewers deemedHenderson (elbow) to be fully healthy at the end of the season, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Henderson's season came to an early end after being diagnosed with a flexor strain in his right elbow in early August, but the team has now confirmed the young right-hander made a full recovery and should have a normal offseason. The 23-year-old turned a few heads by posting a 1.79 ERA and 0.99 WHIP alongside a 33:8 K:BB across 25.1 innings during his five regular-season starts with Milwaukee, and he figures to have a strong chance to make the Brewers' Opening Day rotation in 2026.

RotowireFrelick is expected to have a normal offseason after imaging on his left knee came back negative, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Frelick initially tweaked his knee in early May and battled through soreness off and on for the rest of the season, though he never went on the injured list because of the knee issue. He's expected to arrive for spring training at 100 percent after getting some extended rest over the offseason. Frelick had his best season at the plate in 2025, slashing .288/.351/.405 with 12 homers and 19 stolen bases.

RotowireContreras will visit a hand specialist next week to determine whether he needs surgery to repair a fractured left middle finger, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Contreras was diagnosed with a fractured finger back in early May but played through the injury for most of the season. It likely contributed to a relatively disappointing offensive season, as Contreras finished with a .260/.355/.399 batting line with 17 home runs. If he does wind up undergoing surgery, Contreras' availability for the beginning of spring training should not be affected.
... See More... See LessBrewers' Caleb Durbin: Scheduled for surgery
RotowireDurbin will undergo arthroscopic elbow surgery Oct. 30, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Durbin's elbow began bothering him toward the end of the season, so he will now go under the knife to address the issue. The 25-year-old infielder is expected to be fully recovered by the time spring training begins in February.

RotowireTheBrewers claimedPeralta off waivers from the Angels on Tuesday.
Peralta has made 30 relief appearances at the major-league level, collecting a 5.12 ERA, 1.71 WHIP and 37:24 K:BB across 45.2 innings of work. The 27-year-old has some experience in the minors as a starting pitcher, but he'll most likely serve as left-handed relief depth for Milwaukee.

CBS Sports Chris TowersBrewers' Brandon Woodruff: Expected to be ready for spring
RotowireWoodruff (lat) is expected to be 100 percent well ahead of spring training, MLB.com reports.
Woodruff didn't pitch after being diagnosed with a moderate right lat strain in late September. The injury is unrelated to his previous shoulder surgery, and the expectation is that he'll be fine after some rest. Woodruff and theBrewers have a $20 million mutual option for 2026 that carries a $10 million buyout. He pitched very well in 2025 when able to toe the rubber, collecting a 3.20 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 83:14 K:BB over 64.2 innings covering 12 starts. Woodruff will turn 33 in February and will remain a major injury risk heading into 2026.
... See More... See LessBrewers' Shelby Miller: Requires UCL, flexor surgery
RotowireMiller is likely to miss most, if not all, of the 2026 season after undergoing UCL and flexor tendon surgery Oct. 13, MLB.com reports.
Miller had been hopeful of a less invasive procedure that would give him a chance to return before the end of the 2026 campaign, but ultimately he's unlikely to pitch again until 2027. It's the second UCL repair for Miller, who had Tommy John surgery in May 2017. He's an impending free agent after posting a 2.74 ERA and 54:15 K:BB over 46 innings between the Diamondbacks andBrewers this season.

CBS Sports Matt SnyderBrewers' Jose Quintana: Coughs up three in NLCS finale
RotowireQuintana took the loss Friday against the Dodgers in Game 4 of the NLCS after allowing three earned runs on six hits and a walk while striking out one batter in two-plus innings.
Quintana was hardly able to get comfortable on the mound before Shohei Ohtani blasted a 446-foot home run against him to begin the first inning. Mookie Betts and Will Smith followed with a couple of singles and were brought home on a Tommy Edman single and Teoscar Hernandez groundout. Los Angeles wasn't able to score any more runs off Quintana, but consistent pressure forced the left-hander out of the game after just 49 pitches. With Milwaukee's season now over, the 36-year-old will turn his attention to free agency. He figures to receive interest on the open market after posting a 3.96 ERA and 1.29 WHIP across 131.2 innings in the regular season.

CBS Sports Daniel KohnBrewers' Jackson Chourio: In Game 4 lineup
RotowireChourio (hamstring) will start in left field and bat second in Game 4 of the NLCS against the Dodgers on Friday.
Chourio aggravated his injured hamstring during the seventh inning of Game 3 on Thursday, but he is seemingly feeling well enough to remain in the starting nine Friday. The 21-year-old outfielder has been one of the fewBrewers hitters to contribute consistently during the postseason, slashing .276/.290/.552 with two homers and eight RBI through 31 plate appearances.
