Here is a fact-based summary of the story contents:
Try something different:

TheX-Men will be disassembling in the pages of Uncanny X-Men's 10-part weekly series, and in the ashes theAge of X-Man will rise with the launch of six new miniseries.

Marvel's announcement for the event carried the cryptic tease, "After the apocalyptic dissolution of the X-Men comes…AGE OF X-MAN!" The six series are Age of X-Man: The Marvelous X-Men by writers Lonnie Nadler and Zac Thompson and artist Marco Failla; writer Ed Brisson and artist Marcus To will team for Age of X-Man: NextGen #1; Age of X-Man: The Amazing Nightcrawler is from writer Seanan McGuire and artist Juan Frigeri; writer Vita Ayala and artist German Peralta launch Age of X-Man: Prisoner X; and Age of X-Man: Apocalypse and the X-Tracts by writer Tim Seeley and artist Salva Espin.

Marvel did not provide any additional information regarding the series, except that each will run for five issues beginning in February. The covers for each series show familiar X-Men (and one major villain,Apocalypse) with new looks and uniforms, and the name "Age of X-Man" borrows heavily from the "Age of Apocalypse" alternate reality that was created when Charles Xavier's son, Legion, traveled into the past to kill Magneto, accidentally killing Xavier instead.

Nate Grey, aka X-Man, was one of the few characters to escape the "Age of Apocalypse" universe before its destruction, and has been featured on upcoming covers of Uncanny X-Men with his Four Horseman of Salvation (Blob, Omega Red, Angel and Magneto). Whether he is the cause of this Age of X-Man or is an innocent bystander remains to be seen.
