Peter Parker is the first and most belovedSpider-Man, with some of the most noteworthy accomplishments in Marvel media. However, there have been many other characters who have taken up the mantle and proven themselves to be worthy Spider-Men. Although their achievements don't garner the same recognition, these other Spider-Men's accomplishments are just as amazing as Peter's.

From characters like Miles Morales, Miguel O'Hara, and Yu Onomae, there is no shortage of alternate Spider-Men who aren't Peter Parker. These other Spider-Men show that they also have strong wills and can exert their abilities to achieve great heights and accomplish seemingly impossible tasks.
10 The Superior Spider-Man Saved A Child's Life

InSuperior Spider-Man #8 written by Dan Slott and penciled by Humberto Ramos, the Superior Spider-Man learns that little girl Amy Chen has brain damage and suffers from terrible complications due to Doctor Octopus almost frying half the planet. As the Superior Spider-Man, Doc Ock tries to right his wrong and save Amy's life.
Using his technology and expertise, Doc Ock operates surgery on Amy and saves her life, accomplishing something even Peter Parker couldn't do. It is one of the most heartwarming moments in theSuperior Spider-Man comic and showed that Otto Octavius indeed could've been a great Spider-Man.
9 Spider-Man Stopped A Terrorist Attack

InSpider-Man: The Manga written by Kōsei Ono and Kazumasa Hirai and illustrated by Ryoichi Ikegami, Yu Komori becomes the hero Spider-Man but has major uncertainty over whether he should continue being the Wall-Crawler. Although he frequently doubts his ability to be a good superhero, Yu shows that he is quite a capable Spider-Man.

In chapters 19 to 21, Yu has to stop a terrorist who hijacks an airplane and tries to smash it into buildings. As Spider-Man, Yu uses his strength to swerve the airplane from the outside, successfully veering it away from the buildings. Yu saves countless lives and achieves one of the greatest Spider-Man feats ever, proving his potential to use his powers to protect people.
8 Flash Thompson Turned Himself In & Decided To Become A Better Person

InWhat If Flash Thompson Became Spider-Man written by Gerry Conway and drawn by Diego Olortegui, an alternate reality Flash Thompson became Spider-Man instead of Peter Parker.In a fit of rage, Flash accidentally kills Peter, so he saves Aunt May to make up for his sin, calling back toThe Amazing Spider-Man #33's "If This Be My Destiny...!" by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
In the end, Flash turns himself in to the police for killing Peter, thus exposing Flash's secret identity and ruining his reputation. Although Flash had been an irresponsible and dangerous Spider-Man, he finally takes the steps to become a decent person and chooses to do the right thing, even if it means ruining his reputation forever. That's a huge step that many people would rather not do.
7 Spider-Man 2099 Brought The Amazing Spider-Man Back To Life

In the video gameSpider-Man: Edge of Time,Miguel O'Hara, the Spider-Man of the year 2099, had to go back in time and save the Spider-Man of the past, Peter Parker. However, Peter was stubborn and got himself killed by Anti-Venom.
Despite Peter's death, Spider-Man 2099 hung onto hope and brought the deceased Peter into the future. Spider-Man 2099 managed to defeat Anti-Venom and revive Peter from the dead. It is one of Miguel O'Hara's best accomplishments and earned him much gratitude and respect from Peter Parker.
6 A Rookie Spider-Man Defeated Giant-Woman

In theUltimate Comics: Spider-Man #15 to #18 storyline "United We Stand," written by Brian Michael Bendis and drawn by David Marquez, Miles Morales as the new Spider-Man accompanies S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Ultimates in a battle against Hydra. Meanwhile, Miles faces opposition from Spider-Woman, who isn't comfortable with him as Spider-Man.

Spider-Man winds up lost and alone in a massive desert and has to fend for himself against the mind-controlled Giant-Woman. Although Miles is obviously outmatched due to his lack of training, he proves himself capable by single-handedly defeating Giant-Woman. Miles's victory helps him finally earn more formal respect Spider-Woman.
5 Yu Onomae Wouldn't Give Up Against Screwball

In the mangaSpider-Man: Fake Red by Yusuke Osawa, Yu Onomae takes up the mantle of Spider-Man after the real one goes missing. Although Yu has no actual superpowers, he proves that he has a strong will like Peter Parker.
When the villain Screwball threatens to bomb a building, Yu uses all his strength to chase after her. He is exhausted beyond belief and nearly dies swinging several stories high,but he pushes himself past his limits and goes face-to-face with Screwball. Although it turns out that Screwball was bluffing, Yu proves that he is incredibly worthy of the Spider-Man identity.
4 Miles Morales Saved The Spider-Verse

In the filmSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Miles Morales has trouble being the new Spider-Man of his world, and soon believes that he might not be able to. After taking in Peter B. Parker'swisdom about taking a "leap of faith," Miles finally pushes himself into becoming a proper Spider-Man.
In the movie's final battle, Miles goes up against the main antagonist Kingpin over the fates of his world and the multiverse. Although Miles takes a bad beating, he doesn't give up and defeats the Kingpin, shutting down the villain's world-ending machine and saving the multiverse. What's special for Miles is that he does it by himself, showing that he's ready to take the next step in his life as the new Spider-Man.
3 Pavitr Prabhakar Didn't Give In To The Dark Side

Pavitr Prabhakar is a version of Spider-Man from the comicSpider-Man: India drawn by Jeevan Kang and written by himself, Sharad Devarajan, and Suresh Seetharaman. Pavitr is often bullied and thus can be vulnerable to his repressed anger. However, when push comes to shove, Pavitr is able to resist his darker side.

In the finalSpider-Man: India issue, the villain Naman Oberoi touches Spider-Man with a mystical amulet. A creature resembling Venom emerges from the amulet and attempts to corrupt Pavitr, trying to make Spider-Man unleash his inner darkness. Pavitr demonstrates a strong will and mentally fights against Venom, instead fully embracing responsibility and morality.
2 Takuya Yamashiro Avenged His Comrades' Deaths & Saved Earth

In the Japanese live-action showSpider-Man, an extra-terrestrial army called the Iron Cross Army has annihilated many galaxies and sets out to conquer Earth. They then kill Takuya Yamashiro's father and Garia, the last alien from Planet Spider. Takuya becomes Spider-Man and vows to avenge his father and Garia's deaths. Although the plot is radically different from the originalSpider-Man lore, Takuya Yamashiro demonstrates his own determination and fortitude.
In the final episode "The Hero's Shining Hot Blood," Spider-Man gets poisoned and one of the Iron Cross members deduces his civilian identity. However, Takuya perseveres and finally defeats the Iron Cross Army, saving the Earth and happily avenging his father and Garia. Takuya Yamashiro is a very distinct Spider-Man from Peter Parker, but he is nonetheless a strong-willed one.
1 Ben Reilly Was A Great Spider-Man & Helped His Team Achieve Victory

InScarlet Spiders written by Mike Costa with drawings by Paco Diaz,a version of Ben Reilly from Earth-94 has permanently taken up the role of Spider-Man, saving the world and gaining public acceptance that his Peter Parker never got. Ben Reilly was a great Spider-Man, achieving things Peter would be crazy jealous of. However, the end ofScarlet Spiders doesn't have the most positive ending for Ben.
Ben helps in the Spider-Verse war against the genocidal Inheritors, who keep resurrecting themselves through clones. Ben has to make a difficult choice in order to stop the Inheritors from coming back to life again. Ben manages to destroy the Inheritors' cloning facility but intentionally blows himself up in the process. It is a bittersweet ending for Ben. Although he dies, his actions create a massive victory and advantage for his fellow Spider-People in the war against the Inheritors.
