OUR RIVERINA VINEYARDS

The warm Mediterranean climate of the Riverina delivers exceptional fruit for varieties such as Durif, Montepulciano and Nero d'Avola as well as creating ideal conditions for Botrytis Semillon. The Calabria family source fruit from their own vineyards as well as from local growers within the region, to ensure premium expressions of these varieties.

The Riverina region enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate with winter dominant rainfall and variations of soils from deep red tones through to brown clay loams.

The Calabria family proudly possess two vineyards in the Riverina area, as well as sourcing fruit from local family grape growers. Some grower relationships started when Francesco Calabria founded the winery in 1945, and still exist today 75 years on.
