UK media group The Television Corporation has merged the distribution arms of two of its subsidiaries, Mentorn International and Sunset+Vine, to form a new distribution outfit.
With the same name as the parent company, the new distributor will combine the format and progarmme sales of Mentorn with the barter syndication business of S+V. Mentorn's slate includes such hits asRobot Wars andStar for a Night, while S+V has sold itsGillette World Sport andToyota World of Wildlife into some 200 territories.
The new outfit will be headed up by Mentorn International's current md Mark Roland, reporting to Tom Gutteridge, the Television Corporation's new group director of content and marketing.
