At Building Studio, we’re proud to work with a number of New York’s largest property owners such as Tishman Speyer, RXR and Beam Living [a Blackstone Company] on capital improvement projects for both commercial and residential buildings.

Synagogue project recognized with a design award from QBBA: Young Israel Ohab Zedek is a local Bronx synagogue being recognized by the Queens Bronx Building Association for design excellence!

Progress is being made downtown Williamsburg in the retail shopping center. This area is part of our ongoing work with Capital LLC, a national real estate investment firm specializing in the retail market. Formerly an industrial area, this neighborhood is now one of Brooklyn’s most highly prized and valuable mixed-use districts.

We are so pleased to have this house recognized at the SARA National Awards. Most awards grant recognition to only recently completed projects. We were thrilled that one of our favorite house projects was able to qualify for this award despite being an older build.

One of the most famous places in New York City isRockefeller Center, home of NBC, Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show, and site of the famous skating rink and annual Christmas tree lighting.  The development, a city landmark, is owned by storied developerTishman Speyer.

We are so glad to share these images with you for this recent house renovation.  These clients have given us the highest compliment: asking us to design another project for them!  After designing their Vermont ski house a few years ago, they asked us to redo this 5,000-sq.ft. mid-century modern house for them in the Bronx.  

As a part of our ongoing capital improvement [CapEx] work for our long-term clients Beam Living at Stuyvesant Town/Peter Cooper Village, we recently completed this accessible playground design as an amenity improvement at this community, the largest rental complex in the United States.

We are proud to share new images from a recent custom home renovation and addition involving the historic restoration of a charming Colonial Revival house, and an expansion that included a new in-ground heated pool and deck, with an all-new pool house/cabana wing.

Our new synagogue for Congregation Zemach David in New Square NY is under construction, getting more impressive, more solid, more real every day. The structure is up and the concrete block is complete. Since we started in July 2020 we have patiently shepherded this massive building's growth.

One in our portfolio of projects for Chicago-based developers, L3 Capital, 184-192 Bedford Avenue is kicking off. The two-story brick builidng is designed to fit into its central Williamsburg location.
