Paramount Channel withdrawn from Ukraine

By

The Ukrainian regulator National Council has removed Paramount from the list of foreign channels allowed to be distributed in the country.

According to the regulator, this was done at the request of the licence holder. In other changes, the National Council has added four channels – T.TV.I, T.TV.I HD. OstWest24 and GAGSNETWORK to the list of permitted foreign channels, bringing the total to 109. TV.I and T.TV.I HD are documentary channels registered in Bulgaria, while news and documentary-based OstWest 24 is licenced by the Media Authority of Berlin-Brandenburg, Germany. Entertainment-based GAGSNETWORK is registered in California.

The regulator has also expanded the number of languages Nickelodeon Global can be broadcast in Ukraine.
