Mic is the assistant director of Copy atEncyclopædia Britannica. He began with the company as a copy editor in 2013, fact-checking and copyediting text, still art, and interactives on a wide range of topics for all levels of learners. As assistant director of Copy, he also helps maintain and develop style guidance across all platforms. Additionally, he has writtenBritannicaarticles on topics related to literature and history.

Outside his experience with the company, Mic has written, fact-checked, and copyedited educational material as a freelancer for other publications, and he has worked in e-commerce as a merchandiser.
