Former Nigeria striker, Peter Ijeh has be appointed as Manager of Swedish Division 2 club side Vargarda IK.

Ijeh confirmed the news on his social media page on Tuesday after he was unveiled by the club.

The 43-year-old will also double as the technical adviser of the club, but he didn’t disclosed other details of the contract.

“Took over today as the Manager/Technical Adviser Vårgårda IK Div2 Sweden. #ItsGameOn #InGodWeTrust,”Ijeh said.

Ijeh spent most of his career playing in Scandinavia where he featured for Malmö, IFK Göteborg, Copenhagen,Viking, Syrianska and GAIS.

He also studied at Gothenburg University and the Swedish Football Federation and acquired a UEFA advanced licensed certificate.
