This page is forUniversity and Bodleian Reader card holders using the Weston Library reading rooms.
Tours, exhibitions, events, café & shop
Reading rooms
Monday – Friday: 9am – 7pm
Saturday: 10am – 4pm
Reader spaces are locked from 7pm on weekdays and 4pm on Saturdays. Please leave the building with your possessions by those times.
Easter opening hours
The Weston Library reading rooms will be closed from Friday 3 April – Monday 6 April.

About the library
The Weston Library is home to the Bodleian Libraries’special collections. It is a working library and research centre, and a public event and exhibition space.
The library has threereading rooms and a number of seminar rooms and other study spaces. It is home to:
- Centre for Digital Scholarship
- Visiting Scholars Centre (Centre for the Study of the Book).
- Bodleian Libraries Admissions Office
Please note: entry and exit bag searches will be carried out on readers accessing the reading rooms.
