COAL CHAMBER frontmanDez Fafara has reportedly started a side project calledDEATHRIDE. The new group is said to have already completed writing over 20 tracks, some of which are being described as "much heavier thanCOAL CHAMBER" and featuring "more technical" musicianship than that found inFafara's main band. Unconfirmed rumors also indicate thatPANTERA frontmanPhil Anselmo may contribute lead vocals to several songs to be included on the act's debut album, presumably due sometime in 2003.
