SESAC Latina will honor Spanish rocker Enrique Bunbury with its icon award at the 2019 SESAC Latina Music Awards. The gala is set for June 5 in Beverly Hills.
During the evening, SESAC Latina will present awards for the most performed songs of the year, including song of the year, publisher of the year and songwriter of the year.
Bunbury’s distinctive voice was first embraced by Spanish fans in the 1980s, when he was the lead singer of the group Heroes del Silencio. He has since released 10 solo albums. Now a Los Angeles resident, he is one of Latin America’s biggest rock stars.
