This is Nate Bargetze’s third month at No. 1, going back-to-back after leading in August. He posts another eight-figure month, with $13.3 million and 159,000 tickets according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore. The lion’s share of that sum comes from two stops on the Big Dumb Eyes Tour. Between Sept. 12-13, he performed three sets at Denver’s Ball Arena, which earned $3.7 million from 47,200 tickets. Even bigger, he gave a trio of performances at New York’s Madison Square Garden (Sept. 25-26) that grossed $4.6 million, playing to more than 50,000 fans.

ASaturday Night Live alumnus makes his monthly chart debut, and three other performers repeat from last month’s tally. September’s top five comedians worked for their money, playing a combined 65 shows, compared to 38 by the top five overall touring acts. None of them played fewer than 10 shows.
