Celine Dion was born and raised in Charlemagne, Quebec, Canada. Her birthday is March 30, 1968, and her height is 5'7". Music was important to Dion's family as she was growing up, and she wrote her first song at age 12 with help from her mom and brother Jacques. Her mother sent the song to talent manager and music producer Rene Angelil, who signed her as a client. (The two would go on to marry in 1994.) She released her first French-language debut album, 'La Voix du Bon Dieu,' in 1981; it did not land on the Billboard 200. Her first English-language studio album was 1990's 'Unison.' The set peaked at No. 74, with lead single "(If There Was) Any Other Way" reaching No. 35 on the Hot 100. Over the decades of her career, she'd go on to earn many No. 1s.
