Train andSkylar Grey don’t have a regret in the world on their tropical new single “Mai Tais,” which dropped on Friday (Nov. 15).
The Hawaii-inspired tune has a relaxed melody that really feels like chillin’ on the beach. “I’ll be sippin’ Mai-Tais/ Looking back at my life/ Remembering the highlights/ Thinking how the time flies,” Grey muses in the hook before frontman Patrick Monahan echoes, “I’ll be sippin’ red wine/ Looking back on my life/ Remembering the stage fright/ The butterflies at night.”
The band will debut the new tune with a special world premiere performance alongside Grey in tonight’s episode of Magnum P.I., at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. As a bonus, Monahan, will guest star as himself on the episode.
