Bakkus is the alias of Joshua Hughes, an English Tech House and Techno Producer/DJ from Gravesend, Kent. Bakkus prefers the harder and heavier style of Tech House and Techno, which has moulded his sound over the past 7 years he's been DJ'ing, and the last two he's been producing.Bakkus runs his own event, Public, alongside his DJ brother, Ben J, and two promoters, Latty and Tinashe, which run Tech House events across the capital, and the South East. He's supported DJ's such as Miguel Campbell, Ammara and Alex P and held residencies for events like DeKoded and FNUK. Bakkus has DJ'd at clubs like Ministry of Sound, EGG LDN, Source Bar and The Green Room. His first ever EP, entitled "Heavy Night" is being released on MKEY (UK)'s imprint, UNOU
