Griffin Hanekamp is a Chicago-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer. His debut came in 2021 on Moscow's Svoboda After, which was soon followed by single Open The Doors on Midtown House NYC. Griffin then released a double single titled Tell Me on Midtown House in late 2021, as well as a 9-track EP titled Meta in early 2022 also on Midtown House. Griffin's second release of 2022 came on JHNS' new imprint Music Stories Records, and includes a remix by Frink. Also in 2022 came an EP on Lisbon's Colour in Music, as well as a remix for BBop Records in London. Griffin was introduced to deep house, minimal, and deep tech in the mid-2010's via club nights in Chicago, Atlanta, and New York, and overseas trips to Europe. Early influences
