Amar Doman is the founder of The Futura Corporation, where he is the sole owner with over 3,500 employees and revenues exceeding $3 billion in North America. As an active philanthropist, Amar supports many charitable organizations and causes, and is a Director of the UBC/VGH Hospital Board and several others.

He began his career in BC’s forest products industry, and is the controlling shareholder, Chairman & CEO of Doman Building Materials, also Chairs and controls Tree Island Steel and is the proud owner of the BC Lions Football LP, amongst many other private and public holdings.
