This year Singapore celebrates its 60th anniversary of independence. Its long history as a trading settlement has left a true multicultural legacy, a patchwork of different ethnic and religious communities. Presenter Carmen Roberts, in a deeply personal journey, heads back to her birthplace to trace her Great Uncle Ee Tian Chian, captured by the Japanese during World War Two and never seen again.
