Mahmoud Dahoud has won two caps for Germany
Brighton midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud has joined Stuttgart on loan for the rest of the season.
The Germany international, 28, has started only six Premier League games sincesigning a four-year deal in July after his contract with Borussia Dortmund expired.
"This is a good move for Mahmoud," saidBrighton technical director David Weir. "It will give him an opportunity to play regularly for a side doing very well towards the top of the Bundesliga."
Stuttgart are third in the German top flight, 12 points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen.Brighton are eighth in the Premier League.
Dahoud last played forBrighton in a 1-1 draw againstBurnley on 9 December.
Brighton striker Deniz Undav is also on loan at Stuttgart and has scored 13 goals in all competitions this season.
