WalesJust as they were looking ahead to the club's 140th anniversary next year, evidence has come to light suggesting Wrexham FC may already be almost 150 years old.
The club's historian has uncovered references from local newspapers which indicate the club was founded in 1864 and not 1873, making it one of the oldest clubs in Britain.
