Aeromexico Resumes Flights to Seoul

Ads Aeroméxico announced theresumption of its flights toSeoul (ICN), South Korea, starting onAugust 1 after a two-year hiatus. Aeromexico will be the only company connecting Latin America with Korea.
Ads In 2022, Aeroméxico suspended the route due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which led to airspace restrictions over Russia. The Mexico-Korea route involves flying over Russian territory, and the restriction forces extended flight schedules and crew services.
Flights will depart from Mexico City, with a stopover at Monterrey International Airport. From Seoul, the route will be non-stop to Mexico City.More than 12,000 seats will be available per month and tickets are currently on sale through Aeromexico’s official channels.
This will be the airline’ssecond destination in Asia after resuming non-stop operations to Tokyo in March 2023.

The route will be operated withBoeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft with a capacity of 243 seats (32 Premier Class/27 AM Plus Class/184 Economy Class), providinga capacity of 3,402 seats per week.
Aeroméxico has Korean Air as a codeshare partner, allowing travelers to make domestic connections in Korea, as well as to Southeast Asia.
